And then when the movie ends I saw on the screen the real name of the boy was Brad Renfro, and I check out his IMDB page and I was shocked when I rode that he is died. when i first saw Brad, I thought that he was going to be the Oscar winning actor of my time when I was old,, like Al Pacino ... he was my mini 'Ethan Hawke' .. luved him soo sooo much and had so much hope for him .. he was on my 'short list' of fave young actors... this is the first time I have been able to even talk about it since I heard he died.. I remember,, it was the same month as Heath Ledger, and , no offense to Heath, but all the focus was on him , and not on Brad,,, what a loss..

Um, you have no idea where he came from. He was lucky to survive his childhood. His parents lost custody of him when he was five, if that tells you anything. He came from a long line of drug users, and was born addicted himself.
Heroin is an artificial opiate, and when you're born addicted you can't form your own natural opiates. Your body isn't capable of forming endorphins. If you're not weaned off by the age of six, you're body may never be able to learn how to form endorphins, even after you stop using. There's a brief window there and then it closes. Trust me, we learned about it in my AP Psych class. haha.
I lost a friend to drug overdose, he was 19 years and seemed to have everything to expect in life. But you never know what takes place inside someone. Surely, this was a matter of not having someone with whom this person can share everything and find understanding.
Never can tell. Some flame out like Renfro, Brandis & Phoenix. Others go thru a rough patch & come out the other end intact, like Scroeder, while some make a seamless transition like Harris, Fox & Thatcher.
When you're a parent it doesn't matter how they died the pain is still the same. When you people grow up and have kids you'll understand, that is if you're a parent that loves your kids.
I don't think anyone is asking for your sympathy, so you can all relax. This video was probably made for people that knew him.

Hollywood and the fans tell you how great you are. Being a teenager is already hard, now he had to live up to what everybody thinks. Who is a real friend, and who just wants something from him? Its hard for an adult to know, impossible for a child.
Brad needed a stable person to be there for him and keep him grounded. Don't think he had one.
Actually, he was born addicted to cocaine and heroin. It seems like all the really talented people in Hollywood end up having problems, while people like Miley Cyrus live cozy little lives. *Sigh*

He died a terrible accidental death thats as far as I will say because I dont want people to remember him for it . but for all his beautiful things he did for people and the world . he was an amazing man .

aww man i didn't know he was dead! Til i searched for a trailer of the client to show my friend.. no way that puts to rest any dreams of marriage i had with Brad. What a sweetheart he was. He got the job in the Client that sparked off his career through his parole officer in conjunction with social services,.. he had such a messed up life from such an early age and still was sooo brilliant. Crying.

some actors learn how to act.
only a few are born with the gift of acting.
there is no doubt brad renfro was one of 'em.
i worked with him twice and except for the fact that he was a pretty damn talented actor he seemed to be a very kind person as well.
wish i'd known him better.

I'm lost for word for i remains awe for the news. WHY HE? Lucky you for having a chance to met and get to know him in near! I really want to talk to him but dont know how? Can i touch him tru the morning breeze or can i see his face looking at the moonlight? OH, all of these for i believe that he is an Angel now! Missed you Brad! And thanks for your stay here on earth!

He didnt die of drugs he was off of them for along time . we dont know what killed him and so please dont say he died from drugs .
