@TheSneaky78 That is false information, just so you know. Ted Bundy does not have a daughter. A woman he married while on trial claimed to have given birth to his biological child, but they never had conjugal visits and therefore this is impossible.
@popperus I haven't read what Michaud & Aynesworth have wrote about Bundy. But I have read that Bundy wasn't permitted conjugal visits in prison. Of course, what I read could be wrong. I haven't read any official biographies on Bundy.

The truth is if he had empathy and feelings for other people, he would not have been on the homicide course he was on. It is the most important ingredient to not becoming a monster. If they want more, a very few may dig up dead bodies, and very few necrophilias kill for the purpose of sex mostly because they have learned empathy and to feel for others and they do not have the strong motivation that Bundy had to do so.

@mexakify - I think he had a high IQ. That's been documented. But high IQ doesn't mean someone's a decent person, obviously. He was without a doubt a slimebag. And as you pointed out, he preyed on vulnerable, weaker people and made sure he had the element of surprise. But then, that's what predators do.

@TheSneaky78 That is false information, just so you know. Ted Bundy does not have a daughter. A woman he married while on trial claimed to have given birth to his biological child, but they never had conjugal visits and therefore this is impossible.

@jaidemm you're right - he was not permitted conjugal visits. But as with most things, there are ways around that. Ann Rule contends that bribes to the guards at Raiford prison would make them look the other way for a short time while an inmmate made use of a bathroom stall to accomplish the task.
