For the oceantards still wondering wht funi fanboys like funi more than ocean: not only in ocean dub did the characters at times sound cheesy (funi was guilty of this aswell), saban who owns ocean ruined dialogue with censorships, edited out violence, and cut out certain bits (lunchxtien ect)

Ocean Dub had a far superior Ginyu Force. Better voices, Hell just look at Jeice you can't fucking compare that at all to the others. KAI totally sucks, Funi was alright but the ocean dub had a better cast for it.

Awesome Soundtrack that gave off the feeling of to not mess with these guy's and their voices matched them greatly to what they looked like.

At least in both english dubs, the characters get new voices actors as they get old, mostly growing from children to adults. But at least with the english voice of Goku, he at least sounds manly.

Frieza is a man and in the original Japanese version he got a Male voice actor.

Im very happy that they have given him a new Male voice actor on DragonballKai because i hate that people must make fun of Frieza and call him a girl often only because his English voice actor used to be a woman.

I enjoyed both as a kid. I thought Ocean did the first 2 sagas very well and FUNiMATION did the rest well. I absolutely love Brian Drummond's Vegeta... as a bad guy, and I think Chris Sabat did him perfectly as a more mature good guy. I honestly think it's weird to hear the FUNi group doing the early episodes, and equally weird to hear the ocean voices in the later episodes!
