  • this was such a cool dance!!!!!!!!!!! that last lift was incredible. great job!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really, really cool song... you should post a link to iTunes so people could buy it!

  • Very interesting video and music!

  • laudable partnering skills from both dancers. the girl was very secure in her partner and the boy was 100% in everything.

even when not in contact, they moved as one.

beautiful choreography! the shapes, the movement vocabulary and the musicality were well thought of and executed choreographically (and performance-wise as well).

    the music was just captivating.

    kudos to the artistic team!

  • Oh my God. That's one of my favourite choreography ever. And the music it's amazing... more than charming. The first sound reminds me of a water drop falling down. The mix between music and dance was gr8.

Have you ever done a video aout Because I'm free? i was curious to listen it..

  • The human condition, expression of organic art and math is complete when male and female perform together.

Negative comments destroy and positive comments build. let's build.

Composing this music and then seeing it come to life in dance is an amazing thrill.

Larry Mitchell (a.k.a. - Naked Science)

  • @LiQiDiGi I don't know why but I found this offensive... I think its because a woman and a woman or a male and a male can have the save completion as a female and a male.

  • Are you people making this comment reel a gay and lesbian discussion group or can we actually talk about the BEAUTIFUL dance performed by amazing dancers to wonderful music!! This Vid is great and showcases the modern affection of movement.

  • hes not gay hes marryed to zoica shes in the copany any gay asses that think hes gay need a life because people can like who they like

  • ah!! i miss zoica and andres..

    They're great

  • how do you know them?

  • I went there last summer

  • yeah they are! and i think zoica is strict, but sometimes i can't help loughing when i think of the expressions she uses, they are totally unexpected "Terrible!!" "Again!" "You're doing it AWFULL!!"

  • What's the tittle of that song ?! Please I want it ! I really love the choregraphy and the music ! So please tell me the tittle of this song ^^

  • Well, enough talking about homophobia and gay people. The point is to comment the video, which, as a die-hard classical ballet fan and dancer, I'm not much into modern, but this was very interesting and I liked the melding of ballet and modern.

    Beautiful

  • hha ha i was in that room yesterday and whoever says ballet is gay has clearly never tried it so shut your pie hole

  • the guy isn't gay! I know him! I got to ballet there. (Orlando Ballet) he's married to a cuban lady who was my old ballet teacher. so he isn't gay.

  • great pas de deux...wich part of spain u live...

  • oooh!! amazing and pretty!!!

I have a question: You studied dance in a carrer or in a school dance??

I want study dance professionaly but I think that the only way is going to a university...

  • beautifully done!

  • the music and the choreography is amazing!

    the dancers are really awesome!

  • Hmmmm????

If your oppinion that he looks gay depends on what you see, why is he dancing with a girl???

This is an oppinion you cant defend, so please stop this dialog!!!

Its a very nice and interesting choreography, what company is this?

Do someone know the titel of the song? Sounds simmilar to Mandalay.

PS sorry for my bad english

  • loving the music

  • I have so much respect for male ballet dancers cause i know that when they were younger they would of had to put up with immature people (such as you below) who are convinced that men that dance are gay. Thats like saying women who play football are lesbians. i mean, wtf

  • to kovertlydrummatik: just for your info, ballet was created BY men FOR men, so...yeah.

PS why are you watching dance videos on youtube if you are so 'manly' and just going to bitch about them?

  • exelente coreografia y muy buenos bailarines

  • AWESOME! i loved it

  • Awesome!!!

  • soo tru but song aint bad

  • There are a lot of modern and contemporary pieces that are a lot more "hardcore" and in which the dancers move more animalisticly.

However, you are mistaken in calling this ballet. This is contemporary. And so what if the dancers in this piece move beautifully instead of more harshly? That is the type of movement the choreographer wanted. Since when does that make the male dancer gay? He's probably perfectly capable of dancing more like a "wild animal".

  • I didn't say it made him gay, but he sure as hell LOOKS it. :P My idea of a hardcore ballet is a choreographed fight scene. That would be cool. Or breakdancing. THAT is Man Dancing.

  • Oh, so we have a manly man here. Sorry, but the days of testosterone fueled 'typical' men have passed. Guys who feel the need to defend their masculinity just make me think that they are self-conscious.

Post script: How do you LOOK gay? The way a person moves when they dance has no effect on their sexual orientation.

Post post script: My personal opinion is that breakdancing is purely a series of tricks, not actual dancing. And girls breakdance, too, so it is not "man dancing".

  • Ha ha. All I picture is rednecks when I hear 'Manly Man'. And for the last time, I don't care WHAT the person's orientation IS, it just LOOKS gay when guys do ballet. It doesn't LOOK gay when men breakdance, tho, which is what I meant by man dancing. And girls who breakdance ROCK.

  • I'm still wondering exactly how you can LOOK gay.

  • Easy. Dress like a woman, act like a woman, talk like a woman, do woman things... this dude has at least 3 of those covered.. :P I love to argue. :P

  • Last time I checked, I don't usually dance in pants with one leg and no shirt. And dancing is not just for people of the female gender, so he's not acting like a woman or doing woman things. You also have not heard him talk. So I'd say that he has NONE of those covered.

  • I figured you had to be a dancer yourself to stand up for it... and maybe some kinda activist too. He's wearing a leotard... not man clothes, not by a long shot. He's also BALLET dancing... which in my opinion IS a VERY girly thing to do. And the third one you got wrong... I of course have no idea what he sounds like, but if he's ballet dancing, then he has the fourth one covered.

  • Of course I'm a dancer, and I also happen to be an environmental activist. Good job.

That garment, by deifnition, is NOT a leotard. And I'm pretty sure plenty of straight men have worn tight pants before. Once again, he is NOT doing ballet. He is doing contemporary dance.

  • Now I am going to attempt the impossible: convince you that not all male dancers talk like drag queens. I dance at a small studio with no men, but I went to a dance intensive in Chicago this summer. There were 16 guys there, none of whom were gay unless they lied to each other and most of the girls there. The 4 guys who stayed in the dorms each had a bit of a romantic fling with a girl while there, and none of them talked abnormally. Who's to say the guy in this video is different?

  • There we go with that word again... but the original point was, a man LOOKS ferry when he dances like THAT. Call it Ballet, Contemporary... whatever you want, but it LOOKS gay.

  • Then your argument has absolutely no basis or provable point. I think that means I've won.

  • Someday you'll learn that there is a realm of abstract thought OUTSIDE of the box that does not rely on a perfectly solid basis or provable points to be correct. The way something LOOKS doesn't have to be backed by scientific fact or physically solid evidence to look the way it looks. It just DOES.

  • if you have something to say like that why dont you keep it to ur self beacuse some people think it is great that men do ballet and if you dont like it then dont watch ballet on youtube

  • ok, i have read all of your comments and clearly you are homophobic! i happen to know andres very well and he happens to be married to another woman in the company! you want to see a real male ballet dancer? go search for carlos acosta or fernando bujones!

i am also a male ballet dancer in the orlando ballet and i have a girlfriend, sure there are a lot of gay men who do ballet, but actually know a lot of gay men who breakdance!

  • you think he LOOKS gay?

the costume he is wearing accents and enhances the lines of his body that the dance and choreography shows.

almost every breakdancer i have ever seen wears baggy/loose clothing to almost hide their bodies. ballet dancers are able to show the line and form of our bodies. and you think that looks GAY?!?!?

you sir are an immature moron!

  • it takes a true man to wear that and dance ballet, a literally bone-crunching form of art. And the word "gay" shouldn't be used as an insult. Gay is what it is, as Hetero is what hetero is. -_-;;

  • He's only wearing a pair of shorts and one leggin, so does that mean that every time you walk round your house in just your boxers you look gay? Immature. Especially since you couldn't dance anywhere near that well i think you should keep your mouth shut because gay isnt an insult, no one should be insulted for being gay thats almost as stupid as insulting someone for being straight you retard.

  • @sophiarocksyourworld ok i voted down but wanted to vote up... just so oyu know ... it was a mistak.... p.s love the comback

  • @sophiarocksyourworld BRAVOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i'm sorry but you are quite clearly a moron.

you obviously don't know enough about dance to even have this debate. ballet is not gay at all! and as a dancer there are LOADS of dance performances in the ballet style that are explosive. look up 'in the middle somewhat elevated' by willam forsythe. if something looks girly on a man (which i won't say doesn't happen in dance) it's normally because the choreographer has asked for it. your opinion is weak and very incorrect.

  • I think anyone who can even SPEAK like I do, much less type on a goddamn keyboard is NOT a moron. You're being funny, right? When will you extremists read the whole comment? I said he LOOKS gay, and when I say LOOKS gay, I can mean whatever the hell I want by it. My opinion is subject to NO ONE elses.
