@SSGWoodruff1 thats funny a 15g is a mitsubishi turbo and the T4 garret..lol.but that would be a sleeper maybe high 13's...yeah 25 psi will equal about 400hp in a evo on 93 octane.im currently at 30psi and at around 520 crank hp on the magical E-85 fuel..i know of a few older volvos going pretty quick and able to give a few cars a run for there money.my next video i think ill do a idle to redline pull in first gear..and see what my lag is .but in first gear i only have enough time to build 26psi

@SSGWoodruff1 the evo is a lil laggy below 3k rpm with full stock exhaust and a catalitic conv. in place...with my full 3" and test pipe lag is much less of an issue but obviously is still there..and when i threw on my larger gt3076r bb turbo it only took 400-500 rpm more to fully spool.so my full boost comes at around 3500rpm. u just gave me a good idea..ill need to record a new video of my evo doing 40-50 in top gear. and possibly a 50-60..titled gt3076r turbo lag 40-50mph 5th gear pull.

@SSGWoodruff1 also the fact that nearly all OEM turbos on cars are journal bearing..as a Dual BB set up would reduce lag significantly.also since i just sold my 04 Z06 the powerband is much different.where the Z06 mildly pulls progressively to redline my evo just has a huge surge of torque at around 3800rpm. on my evo if im doing 45 in 5th and hammer it doesnt take that long as it kinda feels like a decent powered all motor car while im building psi in top gear.and i am running a gt3076r turbo

@SSGWoodruff1 ..really how many turbo cars have you driven?..turbo lag is a part of turbo life its a trade off and a balance game...if you want good top end power you need a larger turbo ..if you want ultimate response you stick a tiny turbo on her....and stock evos come with a decent sized turbo from the factory 16g-tdo5hr. able to produce over 400hp on 93 octane. ..so there will be a little bit of lag. more so then say a VW 1.8t that has a tiny lilttle kkk turbo.
