Truly one of the finest singer/songwriters of my generation. Long been known as an interpreter of other people's songs, she has an uncanny gift of making her interpretation seem as though it's the original version. IMHO, she always does it better than the original artist. Her voice is so hauntingly beautiful and she is so emotive it is a true pleasure listening to her sing. I've watched her grow as an artist since the early '70s and I never tire of listening to her music. Rock on Emmylou!!!

It's only the wealthy people that look like they're in their 40s when in fact they're in their 60s or 70s. Hmmm, why is that? I take care of myself too, I'm not wealthy and I also don't look 25 years younger than I am. But then again, I've never had plastic surgery done.

I was only giving Emmylou the benefit of the doubt because what I saw when I was with her ( @ The Bottom Line when she appeared with the McGarrigle Sisters) -- she appeared lovely & in shape -- but, upclose, she had all the little imperfections of age that could have been corrected by plastic surgery. Some still visible in 2010. But, if she did have work, thankfully, it's not what was done to Dolly, Burt Reynolds & Kenny Rogers.
