IMO, it's not about Graves being a bad singer, 'cause he's not.

It's that the 90's version of the Misfits is not the true Misfits, it's like a tribute band, IMO. I'm really not a big fan of the original stuff they did. This is probably the best thing, mainly

because it what sounds like references to the time they got arrested for grave robbing in New Orleans, looking for Voodoo Queen Marie Leveaux's grave.

i went to the starland ballroom show also. best show of my life. and i got a signed shirt he wore at one of the concerts, a signed action fuiguringe of him i got a picture with him on his tourbus 2 hrs before the show. and ya know what? none of it costed a cent. danzig makes u pay for a freaken picture. and jerry only is the nicest rockstar in the history of all rockstars past and to come. so stfu.

Jerry Only should really stop singing the songs. He should get Graves back or hire another singer. I wnet to the show at the Starland Ballroom and he f-n butchered all of the songs. Graves said he would go back if Only asked him. The original Misfits and the 90's Misfits are two totally different bands and both are very good for different reasons. Just sit back and enjoy. If you don't like Graves...just listen to the early Misfits . If you don't like Danzig...listen to the 90's version.

If you compare the writing involved in the two eras. You'll see that Glenn was more of a poet that anything else. As far as anything goes, Glenn is clearly more talented and accomplished than Graves ever was. If you match up; 70's & 80's Misfits vs. 90's Misfits Samhain vs. Graves Danzig vs. Gotham Road Theres a clear winner there, even not including there solo work. and just because jerry only is the driving force in the band now, doesn't give him an excuse to suck.

No, They are not just different. Glenn Danzig is a much more accomplished artist than Graves will ever be. Glenn has had three very successful bands in his life. "The Misfits" "Samhain" & "Danzig" Graves just had the hand me down Misfits. Glenn Danzig plays every interment. Have you heard the original"who killed Mayrlin?" single? He played guitar, bass, drums and vocals on that record. Graves nor jerry is nowhere close to how talented Danzig is.
