I've just watched the video where he talks about "securing a record deal" what who where & when?? Spill :) Is he releasing pop material? Please say no....

I think it should be a mix cause I really do like to hear him sing a soulful ballad. That audition for she's out of my life was so amazing.

BUt yeah I would like to see some funky stuff like this the odd MCing as well.

I won't buy it if it is sentimental pop crap. I will buy it if is credible jazz/soul/blues funky stuff. If he had been himself on the X Factor he may have gone further ... the audience knows when the artist is not authentic.

I wish I could mail Simon Cowell and tell him they don't need to tweek Austin. I thought he looked like Matt Willis from Busted on the first live show. I think part of Austins charm and appeal is that he is a down to earth guy with an amazing voice. Watching him in this vid he's not restricted in an outfit trying to turn him into a different person. I wish he'd sing this and valerie on the show. Let Austin choose his own style, I can't wait to watch to see what he sings next!
