@MultiKen18 I've noticed that you have to earn special colors. I think it's got something to do with either shooting down the yuketobanian counterpart of that plane or you acomplishments in that plane. I have several planes that have the YK color pattern available.

Almost each level has a (sometimes hard to find) special plane with a special callsign. You can tell which one it is because their callsign will pop up next to the targeting reticle.

Anyways, if you shoot one down, you unlock it's paintjob for the same aircraft they flew.

But that would also mean that Bartlett would be with you. . . I'll have to look into this. >.<

In Ace Combat 4, Megalith, I was flying down one of the two parallel side tunnels and suddenly started scraping my plane across the ground, without taking any damage at all. I did that for more than 10 or 15 seconds. So far, I've never been able to repeat that.

@syson551 its the SP for the MiG-21-93. Its unlockable after you get enough kills with the MiG-21. You get the Camo after you shoot down the ace in the mission i think is Gohsts of Razgriz where you have to fly through the canyon and help a friendly submarine difuse a bomb.

To shoot it down though you have to have a plane that equips with XMAAs or XLAAs (I use the F-22 Raptor) to shoot it down because it flies way up there with those annoying EF-2000 Typhoons, but it disappears when the Ofnir Squadron shows up,

the missles in this lvl have to spawn somwere. in each corner of the map there are "bombers" stoping those will cancl the missles. think its only possible in sp new game with a fast plane but i nvr tried with a normal enw game were u prob have a f5e or mig.

@coolL9457 I wouldn't attempt to chase the bombers in one of those anyway. I first played the game when I was like 12 (i'm 16) and I never realised it then, but when I did I already had the Falken and MiG 31 and such, so speed and power were not an issue, nor was it completely necessary to chase the bombers, it's just a simpler alternative.

lik i sed b4, there r 4 B-2A stealth bombers, 1 in each corner, that control the missiles. DO NOT go 4 the missiles, you're wasting time, just full throttle to teh bombers and eliminate as fast as possible. (they pop flares and the flat design makes it difficult to use machine guns :) )

You're right...

Shoot down as many planes as you can and that special-colored MiG 21 will be appeared slightly northeast of the canyon (maybe southeast or east, i don't remember)...

I suggest you use SAAM to take down enemy planes that flying above the canyon (because you can't fly above the canyon or SAMs will hunt you and you WILL CANNOT evade it...

Theres like 13-15 Special nammed air craft. The one you are looking for is in the levle that you have to stay in the canion so you don't get shot down. The one when you first fight Ofnir. When you kill about 80% of the targits in that levle, the named air craft should come to raidar. His name is SwordKill, he flys an MiG-21-93, shoot him down and you will get the SP collers for your MiG-21-93. Use the SELECT button on the controler to swich collers of the air craft you wana use.

I'm not sure how to get the YK colours, exactly, but I don't think they're hard to get. As for the Special schemes, shoot down a 'named' plane in one of the missions that is the same as the one you're trying to unlock the scheme for. An example of this is in the SOLG mission at the very end. Kill all the ofnir and grabacr fighters quickly enough and one last plane will approach you from where you started. The plane will have 'REPLICATOR' alongside it near the type of plane it is.
