@scoobyfan977 wrong...Type R's were not limited at all their is nothing special about them, its just a 2 door....the Type RA V-Limited however was a limited edition and they only made so many...they each came with their own individually #'d plate... ****/1000 etc etc

this is a Ver 5/6 made years 98 - early 00' you can tell by the more agressive looking grill and bumper, this wrx does not have the stock bumper tho he has the WRC bumper, i have the same one on my WRX :)

As for the top gear comparison goes you also have to watch the actual show cause the evo they used was the duped up 360hp version bs the Subaru's 280hp when they swapped to the evo's 280hp engine the Subaru stomped it all around.

AFter i watched the vid i realized that not a 100-150 hp AE86 coz the engine rev  at 11 000 rpm that mean Bunta changed the engine dubbed ''The Illegal One'' a 220-240 HP normally aspirated engine after Takumi blew up the original engine against the Lan Evo 3 battle

This car is not a 22B, its a standard Impreza with an STi front bumper for several reasons. a) the characters call lan-evos, lan evos because they are evos, have they ever called buntas an STi? i though not... b) in case u never noticed bunta doesnt really like high horsepower cars, the only reason he upped the 86 so much was so takumi could stay competative with newer cars

22b was different had a 2.2 litre engine and had a really wide body, this is just a type r which is coupe same as a normal sti just a bit lighter and you can control the front and back diff independently cheers

Well yes and no. Because for example Ken Block the Subaru WRC driver, his WRC Impreza can drift. its just harder to get a AWD car to drift inless you had a DCCD then you can transfer most of the torque to the back and drift it.

It's Trueno, not Tureno. They began First Stage with "Tureno" so they could avoid any copyright with Toyota (at the time they weren't famous with motor companies). To my knowledge that is the reason. But it is a AE86 TRUENO. Look at any picture of the actual car and you'll see it is spelled Trueno.

The WRX have always had better grip than Lanevos I've always been told. One of the only major differences I can think of is Evo's have a straight I-4 engine while WRX's have a boxer engine. I've got a AE86 I'm in the middle of restoring so I know the limits of a FR's traction.

But in mountians, u dont have a chance with an AE86. well if its downhill. if its uphill, Lan Evo will win, mostly cuz of its 4WD traction. AE86 cant go uphill cuz of engine reasons, but if u face Lan Evo vs WRX STI, the subaru has an under steer which is bad, but good for grip and it suprizingly doesnt feel like under steer.

I think he LanEvo did have that switch. It gives an advantage not only for the Tureno, but the WRX as well, mostly cuz FF (FWD) has a better spped, acceleration, and start up (Other words: When about to start car from 0 - 60 or higher)

Reason why the STI WRX is fast is due to the fact that in the game u must put a combination of buttons to unlock it. However even though i like the STI better the evo 7 or 8 is faster & better.

Takumi must had have a hard time using hat car at the end. I Think thats a 4WD car. Well to make the car drift easier, you must go alittle faster then you would do in a FR, then use a tight turn and let go of the gas. If he pushes the cras gas pedal while drifting in a turn, hes in deep water. BOOM!!!
