Clever but if the guy won the 20 he'd look like he knew it, and the note would make it up to the "loser." But if she got it, as she did, the note makes it look like he was right all along. So either way he was correct. Cool trick. All the switching was meaningless except to make it look more convoluted.

WTF, see that the part of Derren that some people are written about there a couple online, I thought he was great, but not that great when I meet him in real life. Great scientist of the mind no doubt, absolutely. Good personality maybe when the cameras are rolling or I can be completely wrong and he sensed something bad about the girl. I never meet him till than Im 50 50.

@kidodragon The outcome depends on creating confidence in the guy and uncertainty in the girl. Their decisions of when to switch were predictable based on the confidence and uncertainty that Derren created. Everything he says to the volunteers is carefully designed to influence their actions.

He lost on purpose either for the hype, or as a build-up to something in the future, or an agenda. Everything is staged; a red flag is how the show ends timed perfectly whereas the other shows he does a conclusion. Regarding roulette methods found on the net including various software (eg roulette sniper), many of them do work perfectly. But people use them for online casinos. Once an online casino sees that you are winning, the data is tweaked to make you lose. Although the methods work fine.
