The 1878 Dollar certainly attracted my attention. It's a huge coin. Interesting to hear that it's a bought coin rather than a detected coin. Seen a few contests and I have to admit, it got me thinking about which Australian coins I would consider giving away. A bit of "pay it forward", I think you guys say. Alright, you are a great guy to do this contest stuff..I started metal detecting last year.And have found about $30.00 in coins.Just around my home town.Austin,Mn.Mainly in parks and flood zone areas.

The oldest coin so far is a 1911 V nickel.In good condition.And four silver mercury dimes.some wheaties.We had 50 degree weather last week My son ( 16 months)and I went arcross the street to check the bus stop and found .28 Cents.I have the fever so bad.
