I'm an Army medic also. And obviously the instructors have becom a little more forgiving than when I was there. SSG Kizer would have raped my soul if he had saw me do it like that. And we didnt practice that much on dummy arms. You just had to do the damn thing. But hey, "Worrior Spirit"
@andrademeza Negative; the IV isn't just used for cooling a patient, it's actually hardly ever used for that. In combat, we use them as a replacement for blood volume loss to prevent hypovolemia-->shock-->death, as a means of infusion therapy, and rehydration. No blanket is going to put fluids back in your veins. ;)
i hate dumb bitches like this... poor guy. shes prolly used to having everything done for her and coasting through on other peoples work... stupid bitch
@LegionLives Actually, I do have the rank required. I, as an NCO and instructor, take pride in my soldiers' abilities to perform simple medical tasks when the heat is on low so I know that when it's cranked up to high, they'll be able to function. Clearly this female was, then, not up to the task, and while I am a fellow soldier medic, I must admit that I'm just called Doc now. Or Staff Sergeant.
@katiedove89 They practice EXTENSIVELY on dummy arms first but this soldier medic clearly didn't practice/study her procedures well enough. All I have to say is, being an Army medic too, this shit is not rocket science like she's making it out to be. If she were my soldier, I'd have told her to d/c the procedure, smoked the shit out of her for making such a scene, told her to make damn sure to have her shit straight and know the procedure before she stuck anyone again.
I always remember my husband said there nothing about secret, the end important only save life!
As a military medical officer's wife, I am so proud of him!!!
Have to reminded everyone of how long ago your fathers (mothers)... were forging this? country with their sweat and? what it was would be enjoying such prosperity and freedom like we do today. God bless everyone and your family; Especially of our Military hero!
I know only say Thank you it's not enough for our Military and their family!
This is hard to watch. Classic Army training though, a bunch of noise, people standing around waiting, and people with cameras. I bet she learned some good lessons. It makes me wonder, was she she shown how to do this earlier in her training?
@TheRickIRL hahaha, yea, you'll get stuck a ton in 68w AIT. You get used to it. Just wait until Camp Bullis... you'll get stuck dozens of times in one day, lol

@battygirl31 The question is, do you have the rank needed to smoke the shit outta her? I've learned that's important. As a fellow soldier medic.
