I've never felt the need to comment on anything on utube before but I just had to say thank you! Thank you for your beautiful music, which fills my heart and makes me smile. True talent.
Really nice version, one of the few authentic contemporary King Oliver sounding bands. Please keep going and much success. The clarinet is very much like Johnny Dodds and cornet just like King O. the trombone is an exact Ory even if a bit from his later style. Please check out our lloyddocmiller site for pure New Orleans and Chicago clips. Lloyd Doc Miller
Nice trombone,Arne!! How do you guys get that wonderful Oliver sound of 76 years ago? The band is not a carbon copy and you play in your own individual styles, but it is the "sound" that is magnificent.Bravo!!!

Me, too. Never wanted to comment before, but after listening to the Creole JB for nearly 50 years, got to say these guys are fabulous.
