But even on the slow parts, you do get some decent airtime which can be quite thrilling if you're not used to it.

Ok let me help settle the argument right now; the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the Hollywood Dream The Ride! Universal did not use the same manufacturing company on the two rides and the whole experience is VERY different as well. Just because they both have the word "hollywood" in their name means nothing. In total, the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit has only about two things in common; LED lights and choosing your own soundtrack.

It is an american park and the language laws have to be followed in the banners cause of marketing, but inside the rides you get only japanese voices (tourists don't get even subtitiles)

HAHA. Um. no thats totally false. This ride was designed and built by Bolliger and Mabillard (known as B&M in the indistry) and is a far superior firm to Maurer Sohne, who is behind Rip Ride Rockit.

I know its a different ride(actually different theme) but it has the same concept(idea). I SHOULD KNOW BECAUSE I WORK IN UNIVERSAL FLORIDA. I am watching them building it right now. I am just separated by a chain linked fence so i am seeing the progress of the roller coaster every day i go to work next to the area the ride is built.

this ride rocks . When the roller coaster was going down at the first part , i was shouting like mad . Lol . Although it was scary at first , it is really the best ride i have taken . I went in june this year . I would rate it best among all the rides followed by back to the future - another ride which was fun . wanted to try the jaws and jurassic park but did not because i was afraid to get wet .

I just went here like 4 days ago!! This ride was the coolest ever!! I went on it first and last. It looks so slow on video but don't be fooled. It's wicked. A zillion times better and faster than anything in Tokyo Disneyland, hands down.

I have been on much scarier rides, but it was still a great ride, well worth going on. I started with my arms in the air but soon held on !!! It doesn't look scary but it feels like you will come out of the seat when you drop :)They make you empty your pockets before you get on because the G's are pretty strong, you might loose everything.

been to osaka last summer, that ride was amazing, it even has a music system in it where u get to choose the style of music to play! Great experience, other than the fact that my 2nd time to line-up didn't workout that well as the ride broke down :(. Anyway, if anyone here is going to universal studios japan, dont hesitate to go on this, the spiderman ride was also great, along with Back to the Future ride. These u cannot miss!

OMG.I love roller coasters n never get scared of them..but this one, i was all sweaty n shitting my self..i was hoping as well that they would say i was too fat for the ride but instead, the too ladies pushed the lock at the same time and that was the start of my "f..k (100x) for the whole ride..awesome and scary..n the best..

This ride is TOTALLY AWESOME! They have a singles line! The on ride music is what makes it! ALL HILLS GIVE YOU AIRTIME in the back! It is a mellow ride. A prefect coaster for USJ! I got to ride it over 25x's using express and singles! Plus riding at night, all lite up like a comet! Too cool!
