  • Some good points were made, sir!

  • Did you do a video about Reverend Wright ? Wright is a racist left wing millitant America hating scam artist.......Fleecing his flock for millions. Warren has donated MILLIONS for the underpriveldged. Millions to Africa......What good has Wright done ? Wright has inflamed racial tensions. All for profit. No doubt white folk have been killed due to his preachings. Obama chose Warren for obvious reasons. Politics.

  • Thank you! It's all about working from the center like Obama said ;] Rick Warren is awesome in my eyes. Anyone who would stand up against immorality is a HERO!

  • Obama's a total sellout.

He's not generationally African American. He was raised by his white mother and white grandparents. And his white ancestors OWNED SLAVES.

You think that half-breed is your savior? Think again.

  • "Anyone who would stand up against immorality is a HERO!"

Oh but Aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiize .. in Obama's victory speech he said "equality fo all Americans.. gay and straight".

    Don't you hate him now?

    Two faced bitch.

  • Shubael is nothing but a racist, low life, worthless, fudgepacking idiot who has nothing more to do in life than follow me video to video to comment on anything and everything I post. He doesn't have anything going for him. That's why he has so much time to follow me and other Rick Warren defenders around to harass them. What a total loser! Grow up and please do get a life!

  • I shouldn't have stooped to his level with the insults. I'm just not yet where God wants me to be.

  • You all are on crack - there is a strategic reason for choosing Rick Warren.

To understand the reason, first you must research what Hegelian Principle (synthesis thru anti-synthesis). It`s a way of manipulating society into accepting an agenda thru conflict (anti-synthesis), rubbing the opposing sides against each other till maximum pain is reached and then offer an agenda which creates "peace" that majority accepts(synthesis). Unfortunately the new agenda ultimately takes away freedoms.

  • This Warren decision is not about an issue disagreement but rather about showing the country that a man who preaches against the humanity of of one group of people can still be respected by a "progressive" President. If he preached against jews, or racial minorities he would never have been asked to speak. Gays are not an "issue" we are people that deserve as much respect as all minorities.

  • I meant no harm or disrespect toward anyone. I thought I stated in the video that we have gay members in our religious organization and we have NEVER discriminated against them. We are all one in Christ.

  • Before the civil rights movement African Americans with a light complexion sometimes "chose" to pass for white but they were still African American some gay americans may try to deny who thy are to be broadly accepted by society but they are still gay. Behavior is a choice but being gay is not a behavior it is an identity that you are born with.

  • wow---he compared gays getting married to pedophiles marrying children. You sure would change your tune if it was about race. After the anti-gay attitudes of the African-American community, they have totally lost my support on things like affirmative action. As a white gay male, I realize I am on the shit list of probably 90% of the African American community.

  • Your comment is racist, assuming all African Americans are "anti-gay". The data from the Prop 8 votes shows that 85% of John McCain supporters voted for Prop 8! Also many in the older (65+) voted against it. Its not race as much as generation augustenburg, which of course will change as time goes on.

  • I have to admit that I don't know everything Pastor Warren said about gays so I'm not trying to defend him. However, he is just saying a prayer, he's not going to be in the Obama administration! I work with several racists yet I show them respect though I (obviously) disagree with their position.

  • augustenburg, Your comment tells me that you do not understand the Black Community. We don't hate you! The reaction of the gay community to anyone who doesn't agree with them is the major problem. Some claim a connection to the Civil Rights Movement and the trials of Black Americans. This is an insult to the Black Community. Everyone are haters if they disagree with you. You blaspheme God whom you know nothing about based upon the actions of some nut who says he's a Christian.

  • The gays or LGBT community is mad Warren compared gay marriage to pediphilla and incest. Which is stupid. I agree Obama is doing just what he said he would do, and like it. A great leader he has to include everyone, even far right evangelicals nuts. What I disagree with is a CHURCH & this Pastor getting involved Politics. Pastors need to preach the Gospel. I seriously doubt Jesus is pleased with Warren. I'm straight, Christian & not pro gay marriage, but spewing hate & stupidity is not cool.

  • So pastors should never get involved with politics? Here in Detroit our school system has been in disarray for 30 years. This is partially a political problem, so pastors should have nothing to say? I think the problem came in back in the 1800s when religious people retreated from the public square. Forcing religion on all will never work but advocating one's beliefs is our right. If we don't agree with someone, then we should advocate our position just as hard. Thanks for your comment.

  • Exactly Rev. Minister to the Flock. Jesus taught his disciples, didn't campaign. Be the LIGHT OF THE WORLD by actions not politics. God says be a good citizen, give Caesar his due. Christian don't campaign they pray and do. Teach the kids, volunteer at the schools. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO POLITIC SCHOOLS TO GREATNESS. You need to fix the dead beat dads with multi "baby mommas", drugs, prostitution and general apathy for education in the home. SAVE THE CHURCH FOR WORSHIP! You're corrupting it.

  • What? I don't politic in the church my dear so the "You're corrupting it" line is off base!

  • USA has a democracy, separation of State & Church (tax exempt as they should). No one wants a theocracy, like the Taliban in Afghanistan. Jesus gave his people FREE WILL. America has freedom of/from relgion. Public policy is politics not religion. (but christian values are critical)

When a Pastor preaches THEIR OPINION, not a lesson from God's word, love thy neighbor, judge not, it comes off harsh. Sin is damnable, but folks have freedom & free will. Gently show them Jesus, not politics.

  • Jesus ministered to his disciples, he didn't campaign politically. Fix Detroit schools by, volunteering at the schools, teach the kids, but first fix the dead beat dads and their multi "baby mommas", drugs, teen pregnancy & apathy towards education in the community. God said be the light of the world, not the politics of the world, and be a good citizen, give Caesar his due. Christians vote their convictions fine, but Rev. minster to the flock, don't corrupt the Church which is for Worship.

  • Read the four gospels again. Don't you realize that reforming people will have an affect on the political realm. Let me ask you this, am I wrong for even making this video? Do you not realize that helping the poor, fixing schools, and every other issue boarders in some way on politics? I agree that uplifting the people's minds through Christ is the best solution.

  • I beleive in saving souls. I believe in one apostolic Church of Jesus Christ who is my saviour, who died for my Sins so we have eternal life. The only way to the Father is through his Son. I want that to get out. Yelling about politics muddies the waters and does not uplift people. WE ARE ALL SINNERS, INCLUDING YOU AND ME. Lets not forget that our transgressions are no worse than theirs. So we better be careful before picking up rocks. We might be damning our self. Point to Jesus, not mans law.

  • I may have yelled in the video too much but I'm not saying every preacher needs to run for office. My only point is that political decisions affect our daily lives. We should at least be aware of what's going on around us and take a stand when necessary. Thank you for the dialogue.

  • lol...meanwhile cheney and bush are laughing in the background! hehehe
