i like the go cause of its size but the controls its lack i mean the d-pad and XYAB pad are fine the way they are its just the joystick and the start/select button are just uncomfortable where there are in the middle. if they fix that i'll be a happy guy with this portable device never care about UMDs anyway

I like that Sony has tried to make the PSP funky and fresh, but this was definitely made for those small hands of Japanese and Chinese people. The buttons and analogue stick are all way too small and they don't feel "bouncy" anymore, but instead like a mobile phone's keypad. The placement of the buttons will end up giving you Arthritis, Just look at the guy in the video...

i quite like the psp go cause its quite porportionat to the ps3 controller. its much better for if you want to take it around in your pocket. there are big updates to the store every week with big games like motorstorm and ac bloodlines. little big planet nad metal gear solid. it just depends on what you like but serisouly the psp go in undenyably the best portable console cause its got 16 to 32 gb of memory and its the most powerful hand held. it also fits in your pocket easily

I've been playing this for a few days now and it's great Gran Turismo at it's best as usual except they really scaled down the game by allowing only 4 dealerships at random to buy cars from & no parts to buy & upgrade cars, the head 2 head racing is great & you can win money too which you'll need as the Ferrari F1 costs 8 Mil., if you want to cheat just get 2 PSP's & race H2H & put your cars in long race before you goto bed & set autopilot on both cars so you can earn while you sleep, cheers :)

they arent saying you have to buy this specially as youve allready got a psp. its aimed at people who like the ipod touch and dont allready have a psp. those type of people like myself like it cause its perfect for digital distribution due to its large memory and portability unlike the old psp's. i bough mine for £200. its aimed at people who want their first psp. its much better at holding lots of games and movies without haveing to carry around umd's and it fits in your pocket easily

they will eventuarlly but this is meant to sell alongside the psp 3000 so the games would not be compatible with two analoge sticks. Don't worry they WILL make a psp with two analoge sticks but it will be the next generation of them

Go is too small, and it has nothing I want.. If it flipped around from covering the screen some how so it wont be scratched, then that would be cool.. Just another money maker is all, 3000 is enough and very cool..

The 3000 has allot more color, it's not as loud, but graphics are better, and it's sooo much lighter. Being lighter you can add a case around it with out being too heavy. I gave my fat to my daughter, so now we can both hook up and game, so if you have someone in the family to give the other too, your set for fun. Also if you have a wireless internet you can game anywhere in our out of the house..

what's the point of a upgrade from a 1000 to a psp go? psp go+ unremoveable battery = fees to pay when changing, games coming in digital and umd COST the same price, its more of a downgrade then a upgrade if you look at it... knowing that a psp go wont have a ir port another reason why not to upgrade...

I respectfully disagree. True, game cost sucks and IR port is gone, but the Go's battery would only have to be changed 1 or 2 times in the consoles lifetime. I have a modded 1000, had it for 3 years and im still on my first batt. 16GB of storage with room to double that, beats a ms duo, but since the games would be on the psp, as opposed to changing discs all the time, the Go wins that round. and dont forget the next psp Will have a UMD drive. pm me if u want the link to prove it.

I have the PSP 3000 and had my hopes up but Sony just had a horrible idea with not using a UMD drive at all! How r early supporters supposed to transfer their games. I was always a microsoft person from xbox to zune to windows xp and windows 7 to my old windows mobile 6.1 pro phone which sucked i dont like windows mobile by the way, to windows 7 which ill be making my dad buy! Dont get the GO, get the PSP 3000 or wait for microsofts portable gaming device which might be fake dunno yet.
