ya'll should come down to Greenville. Billy really lets loose here. It must make him feel comfortable here or something. The fans keep sending drinks up to the stage, like pomegranate martininis and whatnot. It was a supreme show. It's worth the plane fare. Totally.
Wow, you were there when Billy did this one! Incredible!! Since I am in Tokyo, he plays rather quite famous gems, not this one ever... Congratulations!
Billy Joel had lots of hidden jewels. When you have that many good songs, it's too hard for everyone to make the greatest hits. Have you heard "All For Leyna?" Another hidden jewel!
You're not dumb, Greenville, South Carolina is just a best kept secret. The airport is actually fragrant. There are magnolia, dogwood, laurelwood and all kinds of blossoms on the trees out front. You only have to walk about 20 steps from the parking lot to terminal. No wonder Billy Joel chooses to perform his rare gems here. You're right about Leyna song. He didn't do that one in Greenville. Maybe next time.
i totally agree with you, billy (william) has so many amazing unknown songs. this is definently one of them. i too love until the night, stiletto is another.
52nd street was the first mass-produced audio cd? no way! thats really interesting

I'm so excited to see him and Elton John in Charlotte in March. He'll likely do this one again.

I think he did this one in Greenvile, SC. It was superb. He was amazing. It's obvious that he loves the southern crowd.

Just one of many of his hidden gems, not known to people except maybe the heavy duty fans. I also love Until The Night from this album too.
Just a little bit of trivia, but that album 52nd Street was the world's first mass-produced audio CD.
