better sound quality, no glare, better picture quality, and my most favorite, not having to hold a camera. check out my channel, at the very end of the list are the vids i made with out a capture card, and the some of the vids on page 2 are the videos that i made with a cap card. you dont really need to get one if you dont want to. it was more of a sugestion. wow i typed a lot
