this movie was my whole childhood too. it was beautiful. my sister and i have belladonna lily tattoos for each other. she's a lot like jillian and i'm a lot like sally. that was our movie growing up and now that flower is our bond. it's crazy how real sisterhood is, huh?

I did not know Stevie did this too!! I totally love the Linsey vocal version. Her voice is too "harsh" for this song. (Just my opinion) I am so a Stevie and LIndsey fan. The song "Crystal" was originally recorded by Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham in the early 70s before they ever joined Fleetwood Mac. The name of the album is "Buckinham Nicks" and I heard their version long before I saw Practical Magic. But needless to say, I was over joyed to find out that Stevie Nicks re-recorded it. I have always had a personal connection with this song and her version is definately better than the original. She made it more haunting and magical and I love her for that.

It's Crystal that's playing while they're talking, just remixed. :P I don't know if you can buy it, since it was a remix made solely for the movie.. but maybe if you look into the soundtrack you can find it.

So great that Stevie did a solo version of that song. I wish she'd perform it in her solo concerts, or that Fleetwood Mac would include it in their live set. It would be such a fantastic way of closing a concert...
Well, not that I know of. Maybe in the very early Fleetwood Mac tours ? I was hoping they'd include it on the Unleashed tour, but unfortunately they didn't. But hey, at least we got "Sara" back in the set ! :)

This has always been one of my favorite Stevie Nicks songs. Sadly, the soundtrack is the only place it appears (other than the Buckingham - Nicks album). I wanted Stevie to put it on her Greatest Hits albums. To me it shows the marvelous mastery and magical musical talent she possesses. It is absoultely perfect for the movie... and perfect for the soundtrack to my life.
Crystal is also on the fleetwood Mac album self titled Fleetwood Mac along with another one of my favorites Sugar Daddy!, christine sings it on the album.

i watched it for the first time in about 7 years, and it reminded me when i was little and when i believed in magic.

The song "Crystal" was originally recorded by Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham in the early 70s before they ever joined Fleetwood Mac. The name of the album is "Buckinham Nicks" and I heard their version long before I saw Practical Magic. But needless to say, I was over joyed to find out that Stevie Nicks re-recorded it. I have always had a personal connection with this song and her version is definately better than the original. She made it more haunting and magical and I love her for that.

It's Crystal that's playing while they're talking, just remixed. :P I don't know if you can buy it, since it was a remix made solely for the movie.. but maybe if you look into the soundtrack you can find it.

@mayerfanatic yeah AvannTethialla is correct..i have the soundtrack and it's pretty much the song " Crystal " with an extended opening ( possibly the instrumental version ) ..the version on the album is the standard version - which starts at 1.34

So great that Stevie did a solo version of that song. I wish she'd perform it in her solo concerts, or that Fleetwood Mac would include it in their live set. It would be such a fantastic way of closing a concert...

Well, not that I know of. Maybe in the very early Fleetwood Mac tours ? I was hoping they'd include it on the Unleashed tour, but unfortunately they didn't. But hey, at least we got "Sara" back in the set ! :)

This has always been one of my favorite Stevie Nicks songs. Sadly, the soundtrack is the only place it appears (other than the Buckingham - Nicks album). I wanted Stevie to put it on her Greatest Hits albums. To me it shows the marvelous mastery and magical musical talent she possesses. It is absoultely perfect for the movie... and perfect for the soundtrack to my life.
