Way better than Fraps. Lets you select your own codec and everything, that way you can get much better quality recordings, smaller file size, and its all in one file so no having to merge video files. Its only like 2-3 dollars more than Fraps. Fraps is just more popular and there for easier to find for free using non-legal means. Doesn't make it better though.

Guys don't do what he says... Just buy more ram... I only had like 640mb of ram and I would lag like crazy! Today I just upgraded to 2GB and it doesn't lag a bit! It takes like 5 secs to load a map unlike it took like 1 minute to load a map... Only times I lag is when I got bad connection or the host has bad connection. So I hope this helps

ok yeah this guy is trying to rip u off well i have tips on how to reduce the lag but not all of it, ok first go to combat arms select a server n just go at the main menu where all the games are showing. look in the right hand corner its a gear click on it change ur quality and grafics seting and make the numbers show 800x950 or something idk lowest number then change the all the shadow character qulitys low and make sure its on USER CONTROLS and yeah if this helps YW!! I was also thinking the lag was all my computer's fault (my comp has an Intel GMA chipset which means it has horrible framerates per second) but now I think you're right, the server lag is also a factor. But my comp's specs certainly don't help the matter in my favor either. I often find myself crouching about to snipe someone when I freeze lag for two seconds. When my game unfreezes on my screen, my soldier is then dead >:(

Hmm, Have you tried changing your desktop settings?

I just go on my desktop.

I right click and uncheck "Show Desktop Items" so it can run a bit faster

and I make my desktop wallpaper a solid background.

Another good way is getting Advance System Care & Gamebooster

@ragestrrage probably your internet connection. If you're on a wireless connection, which is less stable than when you're directly connected to your modem, then it will do that. If it's that, I suggest directly connecting your computer to your internet modem. If it's not that, then there's something wrong with your internet provider and you'll need to contact them and check that out. If it's neither of those, then sorry, don't know. Hope that helps.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. If you're unable to directly connect your computer to the modem, try and move closer to the area where your connection derives from, meaning closer to your modem, router, or what have you. Again, hope that helps.
