I think the corners of the port are "off" a bit. Seems you put rounded trim in there, rather then just 45 degree pieces. Looks like the port would "open" a bit at each corner. In other words, when you designed your t-line, you have your port area right? That is supposed to be carried through the entire port run, including corners. I'm working on a much smaller home t-line and should have a video up in the next few day after I finish. I never seal until after testing just in case.
@DirtBikingFag he is complaning about lack of what he calls call (high bass) that because those note's are a Higher frequence than the box is tuned to. if the box was tuned to 30ish hrz he would get more high's but idk why enyone would want mid frq over sub frq...
@trevcool3 I'm pretty sure 30hz is still low, a good, balanced frequency to tune your box to is 33hz, and it was proven. You won't hear voices coming out of 30hz -.- lol.
Even at 90hz on my home theatre subwoofer, you can't hear the voices come out.
nice box but why the screws? MDF wont hold like real wood does. pins would definitely be the way to go, but the best of luck though. cant wait to see it bumpin
@peniles2404lyf because screws hold better than pins. Pins/nails/staples will rattle loose with subwoofer enclosures. Pre-drill the hole to avoid splitting.
y did u do all the curves in the inside wouldnt just a small rectandular box say the depth from where the sub is mounted to where the 1st panel on the inside work just fine?
not to hate but you wasted a lot of time saying "yep gotta get it done, yep so its good, but yea, alright se ya later, yea you know what im talkin about. ah then um. so yea, but um yea, yep,an, and,ah, yea, but um yea." ect your vid woul be 6 min long. just to let u know.
not a bad box man couple things i would of done diff but t lines work pretty sweet there not full blown spl based box tho but get ok numbers iv seen 1 type r 12 running 800rms do a 138db from 1 which is pretty ok and good to see a another aussie on here
I like your work - but I am definitely anti subwoofer. Your subwoofer diameter looks smaller then my woofer. I have a 12 inch woofer. A subwoofer in my humble opinion is just compensating for the other speakers in your setup.
@clonesandbriggs It's a special type of box for making real nice low bass lines. It's tuned to 25hz. It also generates massive amounts of bass and real nice clean responsive notes too. If you have the space for one it's definitely the way to go. Put it this way, if makes my roof wobble and all the windows shake at half power.
@JACKSVIDO No... Carpeting the inside would soak up the air which would be shit. I'm going to carpet the outside to give the wood more mass and stop is vibrating a bit though...
@brendonv101 oh right, i just thort you would so it looks better. why done you try getin a can on black paint in there so it matches the carpet? isit your car?
nice dub box but you have it the wrong way in your car the sub should be faceing the back as it sounds much better that way what amp you got running your sub
@theAngelofhevn A T-Line Enclosure is just like having a sealed box and a ported box in one...It provides punchy bass like a sealed box and low notes like a ported box.
Im pretty sure your just not gonna "chunk" that in your car. lol

can u tell me... what the difference of a normal subwoofer box and a T-Line one?
theAngelofhevn 10 months ago
@theAngelofhevn A T-Line Enclosure is just like having a sealed box and a ported box in one...It provides punchy bass like a sealed box and low notes like a ported box.
