@ekwi Dude, he IS the last singer. Jesse left KsE before Howard ever joined. First there was Jesse, who sang the first 2 albums (Killswitch Engage, Alive Or Just Breathing). After Jesse left, Howard joined the band, and sang the next 3 (The End Of Heartache, As Daylight Dies, Killswitch Engage). Now that Howard's left, everyone's hoping Jesse will rejoin, but he hasn't made an official statement yet.

He's one of the founding members: no Jesse=no KessE. He left after the release of their second album, which this song is from. He's not emo. Killswitch Engage lyrics generally have a positive theme. If anything, Howard Jones took the band in a slightly emo direction with some of the songs on the fifth album.

Some bands actually put emotion into the music, it's still metal, but has a different message. I know plenty of people who are heavy metal heads that listen to everything, KillSwitch, LoG, Cannibal Corpse, As Blood Runs Black, and then moving on even some Christian Death Metal bands. Not everything has to sound like a certain band to be considered metal
