  • There is so much to learn from the Rhodes Master, Bob James. The concept in harmony and phrasing!!! I miss those CTI days. I grew up on those recordings and as a pianist, I still get mileage out of those lessons learned.

  • SIMPLEMENTE ES BOB JAMES, MUSICA PARA SIEMPRE

  • Una de las mejores canciones que he escuchado en toda la historia del Jazz y bueno hablando de Bob James también que puedo decir del tema You're as right as rain, considerado por mucho una de las mejores composiciones de jazz, este tema can kill me! =)

  • 'love the way he play the piano.... he's really great...and his choice of players...thanks

  • Superb!

  • This is the first hit I ever heard from Bob James back in the late 70's. Been listening to him ever since.

  • @sweepers2 my father had some vinils and I used to lsitne to it a lot. WOnderful producer this is where smooth jazz started

  • @fede4real You really wanna hear a good song from him... Listen to " Your as right as rain", check with your father, see if he has that in his vynals. That was the first song I heard from him.

  • YESSSS !!!!!

  • one of his best works, this was a hit at the same time that Roberta Flacks rendition of the same song was also a hit. Usually it can take years before a second version of a good song dominates the charts. But in THIS year, both songs were played with great regularity during the same summer, 1972ish.

  • Willie Weeks on bass y'all!.... sounds so deep

  • first: i dont think theres a video/song with deeper bass on youtube (thank you rudy) plus theres not a another song with a single note solo in this world which is better.

  • Bob is so talented...the man has so much talent that there is not much to say after that! Love Bob James

  • O piano é classico, a música tocante....qualquer músico que seja... piano, que seja, trompete como eu, baixo, bateria, guitarra, teclado MIDI ou não, saberá que isso Bob James......é patrimonio da HUMANIDADE, graças a deus...

  • Ironically the only lackluster version of this song that I've heard is by the writer himself, Eugene McDaniels. Off his Natural Juices album.

  • Check out this version.... Marlena Shaw, Roberta Flack, D'angelo and these tracks that sampled it.... Rapper Big Pooh - My Mind, Jack Flash - Back In The Days, Common - I Want You, Public Enemy - Louder Than A Bomb, Da Youngsta's - Wild Child, Onyx - Stik 'N' Muve

  • Yo!

best made track out of this one....

  • Bob James is one of the greatest fusion jazz artist of our time, I grew up listening to literally all his major works in the 70's and in the 80's... his musics are part of my youth memories. "Feelin' like making love"... oh yeah, an adaptation from Roberta Flack's hit song, so well arranged in identical B.J's style, so urban, so sophisticated and above all, SO COOL. Bob, I saw ur concert in Tokyo 20 years ago, I love you men !! u're forever !! Keep it comin' !!
