Detroit has been ruled by Democrats, for decades. It breaks my heart that the good folks of Detroit want "change," but not enough to vote for it. Instead, they allow themselves to be brainwashed into believing that only Democrats will fulfill their desires, with a satchel full of social programs, while forsaking Conservatives as being confidence tricksters.
The truth is: a politician can only hand out what you hand in, so you're better off keeping it in your hand from the get-go.

BS Mitt Romney tried to take credit for the auto bail out and then wrote an op ed contradicting himself. Maybe Obama was Union dick sucking but if we lost the car industry it would of been really bad news. Just because Mitt looks like president doesn't make him one. @MrWhiteshark33 Romney is the real deal. He knows more about business and jobs than anyone else running for president. He's created tens of thousands of jobs in the private sector.
He never supported the auto bailout and therefore was not contradicting himself when he was against it. He said that the auto companies needed to work through a structured bankruptcy instead. That's not the same as losing the industry.
Romney is the most competent executive to ever run for president.

Mitt knows how to create jobs. You can't say that about Obama. Mitt has plenty of experience under his belt. He might not be able to fix everything, but he can definitely give our country a jump start in the right directioin, unlike Obama who has made our economy worse. Obama is a joke! He did say to turn Afghanistan over to the Taliban military and corrected himself and said to turn it over to the Afghan military seconds later to where he and the audience laughed. He said he would bring the troops as soon as possible consistent with the words from our generals that we could hand over Afghanistan over to the Afghan military. He, nor Obama nor you are not in the midst of war and can't say bring them home without being reasonable, sensible and cautious for our troops. Look I am trying to discuss the issues here. There is no need to attack me just because I can see Romney for the status quo politician that he is. His answer on bringing the troops home is noncommital by design. We are borrowing money to be in all these wars! How much sense does that make? Do you think that we are safer as a country when we are in debt to China? Look at Greece, Ireland, Portugal. They are all owned by the banks now and their countries are being dictated to.

I like that Romney is a principled man. I think that he probably has the best chance against Obama. Ron Paul is good, but, he lacks the charisma needed to get elected. Mitt, I think you need to present a detailed plan on how you want to get the economy going. Cutting taxes... is to oversimplified... Bush cut taxes but he also imploded the economy. You have to confront the Wallstreet Crooks and put a STOP to outsourcing jobs my friend.

It's funny how people are always putting words in the mouths of people in Detroit. I live in Detroit, and no one here likes Mitt Romney. And the only people here that do like him are afraid to even go to Detroit.
He may not be the worst person out there, but he's also far from the best. And if he did get elected, which is already obviously not going to happen, it's not like Detroit would get any better. It may not get worse, but it wouldn't be any better.

Detroit has been ruled by Democrats, for decades. It breaks my heart that the good folks of Detroit want "change," but not enough to vote for it. Instead, they allow themselves to be brainwashed into believing that only Democrats will fulfill their desires, with a satchel full of social programs, while forsaking Conservatives as being confidence tricksters.
The truth is: a politician can only hand out what you hand in, so you're better off keeping it in your hand from the get-go.
