  • @vincentthegreat82 in real time, they would. He slowed them down to better show them and he restrained to not hurt the kid plus there was no actual contact

  • i usually stun my enemy for 30-40 years with just a light punch.

    btw i'm chuck norris

  • Real situation these techniques don't work.

  • @vincentthegreat82 The do if you practice them 1000's of times and get lucky.

  • To those of you who wonder why he's not responding to your crap on here it's because he passed away a year ago. And to be honest, he wouldn't need to if he were alive. How about you appreciate the martial art, the artist, and his skill and show some freaking respect. And if you think you can do better, get off youtube, go out and prove it.

  • Errrrrrrrrr... ever heard of Excessive Force? Surely snapping the guys arm regardless of the possibility of further attack is over the top, You were in complete control after the first 4 or 5 techniques so why go further, lock his arm/wrist control him and call the Feds!

  • just wondering i do ha am tiger rock tkd too, what are these one steps? are the the personal protection? because i only had one steps for white and yellow

  • I dont think that in a real guy the guy will soften his arm for the other to do all that shit.

  • Muscle Memory is the result of repetitive training and systematic learning. Training certainly gives people the ability to do these moves (they are done every day in Martial Arts). Secondly you have no clue what your speaking off because the person "just standing there" just received a strike to the solar-plexus and a hook to the jaw which will stun most people for at least 15 second. A life time of training in this art has given me such things as experience and understanding.

  • haha, sure karate kit guy.

  • First let me say that I'm no hater. I love most martial arts and enjoy training everything from MMA to taichi. When it comes to selfdefence however, I am very sceptical to what you are showing, and the stun people for at least 15 second thing is simply untrue. But I wonder, how much to you use this technice in scenariobased selfdefence training? Have you done this agains multiple opponants, in the dark, in the streets, on the bus, in a public toilet? Have you done them while your adrenaline is

  • pumping? Against an opponant who moves like a real attacker would move, without you knowing if it's just a punch or a knifeattack? Do you even train it agains people who do their best to beat you to the ground with everything they got? Do you really thing this technice would work under those circumstances? When you are in a state were you fearf for your life? That's what selfdefencetraining is about. Not i a safe, lit up dojo with a student who knows what's coming.

Hope you can answer this =)

  • 15 sec is a HUGE overstatement. One problem I have with TKD and a lot of instruction/instructors of it is that it simply isn't practical in a self-defense scenario. I personally have taken a full on hook to the jaw from a 260 pound fighter and it disoriented me, but I was still able to put a guillotine on him. I also got flashed by a kick to the face during a shot. My brain was shut off for a second or two, but my body kept moving, so to say you can stun someone for 15 seconds from a hook or

  • and/or a shot to the solar plexis is an exaggeration. Granted, there are some useful kicks in TKD that can be used to set up other attacks (I personally love MT leg kick, straight kick to flying knee combo), but, again, a lot of TKD is, as this video shows, single attack, point-sparring based maneuvers. You hold a guys arm out with one hand and you are opening yourself up to eating counter-strikes from his other hand, even with a shot at close range to the solar-plexis and jaw. Keep it simple

  • @comunityTKDclub And obviously given you zero experience as what to happens in an actual fight. Btw, anyone with ANY training in ANY martial art will have the upperhand on any regular joe in a fight. But that's not really the point.

  • @comunityTKDclub no punch stuns someone for 15 seconds, I see the point you are trying to make, but thats a huge exageration

  • @comunityTKDclub just a dumb american bullshido oO ur a black belt tkd ?! Why are u so fat?

  • i dont want to fght him!;)
