  • @Shadowblood66 Well not everyone can be so smart like you and me LOL just explain the difference to those you dont know it..

why are we arguing just enjoy the show

  • its god all mighty's creation

  • OMg its the size of my 2year old brother!

  • @sportychic68 ur brother is big so

  • @sportychic68 Your 2 year old brother is 6 meters (almost 20 feet) wide?

  • i would dream to be there.

but i have fear of them, however i love them at the same time..beautiful

  • great experience... i wish i cud also swim with mantas...

  • How does she hold her breath for that long!?

  • @NemmyLadyZombie

I kinda asked that same question to myself :P

  • how did it kill steve irwin?

  • @Vegito545

    it did not,

    that was a stingray mate

  • @DutchDominatorz oh righhttt!

  • i heard they taste like shark

  • Flattened Sharks?? That is absurd to say.

  • Manta Rays have stingers how do you think Steve Irwin died? He got stung in the heart by a Manta Ray stinger tail underwater. They are dangerous STAY AWAY!

  • @skilletgirl515

    No, that was a STINGray...not a manta.

  • @mitchX

I thought they were the same?? Aren't all the Rays "Dangerous"?

  • @skilletgirl515

    No, no they are not.

It's times like these when doing 5 minutes worth or research pays off, the internet is a wonderful tool! Manta rays are peaceful animals, as are stingrays, it's just a matter of knowing how close is a safe distance. I myself went diving with great white sharks last year and never once felt in danger because it was done in a cage and without provoking the animals.

  • @skilletgirl515 dumbass that was a stingray not a manta ray.

  • @skilletgirl515 stupid

  • where is her scuba?

  • What is up with the marine-biologist's super sexy wetsuit? Never will you be able to find a sexy wetsuit how the hell did she find one?

  • @Himyvideoisthis

    It was probably specially made.

  • Think if those could fly...

  • Ok! I would love that much money!

  • If I had a nickel for every time I heard or saw the word "awesome", I would have enough nickels to fill up the lake I live by.

But quarters.... same, more money though!

  • never ever ever on you fucking miserable lives, step on a manta....owww

  • Fish tail + breath underwater = Mermaid

  • @summerease

99% sure she is actually a mermaid, or a siren. Or something.

  • WHERE CAN I GET THOSE FINS SHE'S USING!?

  • What beautiful gentle giants these creatures are!

  • dude manta rays are the coolest animals!

  • did anyone see dat fine ass

  • @poppinword your mom

  • i would love to do this, probably be a dream experience

  • shes got a nice arse

  • i eat them.. on runescape.

  • Do all rays have spears in there tails? (Not that that makes them any less amazing)

  • @malodorous1994 If you're referring to a stinger, manta rays don't have them, so they're perfectly safe to dive with

  • these creatures are the reason i want to be a marine biologist, they are just beautiful, oh and so are whalesharks ;)

  • she is a world champion free-diver. yes she is holding her breath C:

  • @SpookiandMocca fuck that bitch..she could suck dick all day..with shit in her mouth

  • swimming would help you grow taller ?

  • Wow, great manta ray video.

Do you have any more shots of the manta's underside and gills?

If so, you can help MantaWatch scientists to conserve manta rays. mantawatch [dot] com/stop

  • Does anyone know any online shopes i can find a diving suit and diving fins/flippers suchs as hers..and also the flippers she wore in the reef shark video?

    thanks please reply..supper important :)

  • @AlexisLee13 Also, you should get a body like hers == 5 STARS.

  • WTF is she holding her breath?

  • This is on my bucket list.

  • @ashieboy1995 He long graduated.

  • fucking advertisements, its what is killing all are sea

  • Didn't see Nemo on the manta ray. Guess he wasn't at school today :)

  • @ashieboy1995 lol but Mr.Ray was actually a eagle ray:)

  • If you think of it, this planet is divided into 2 parts of different species, the humans, that live and feed above ground and them, that swim free beneath us.

  • Manta's eat Planktons! Want a chip bro? Na bro, I only eat planktons

  • Thailand

  • Great vid

but her head look fucking scary and weird @ 1:57 to 2:05

  • did she seriously just hold her breath for that long?

  • @lilsheep68 this hawaiin girl is not a champ free diver cuz she never entered contest, but can hold longer than this slut..up to 45 min! its on youtube, time speed camera

  • @krazzyyo2 either you mean 4.5 minutes which is still ridicolous, or your just stupid

  • so pretty!!

  • Manta rays=love

i always thought they were sooo cute! D:

  • They are just beautiful animals

And shes a bot of allright herself :D

  • DAYYYUMM. The BBC delivers! I need to get this channel back on my cable.

  • wtf? she breathe under water?

  • From 1:51 to about 1:56, she looks like a mermaid. Pretty~ ^.^

  • they eat plankton so i'm safe so like naruto mentioned, a sting ray killed steve irwin although the circumstances were insane. These ones are damn massive

  • The hell? They're a cousin of sharks? O.o

  • wat killed the crocodile hunter again?

  • @NarutoEX100 sting ray

  • what is she using to breath ?

  • @XHeartlessZombieX

She's holding her breath. Free divers will often hold their breath >5mins at a time. Potentially she could be breathing thru someone else's scuba gear off screen to stay down there longer without surfacing.

  • @MotionFur u can't hold your breath for 5 minutes while swimming around...

  • @mniel0

"u can't hold your breath for 5 minutes"

If you mean ME specifically, no, I can't. If you mean people who train and free dive, yes, they can.

Google: holding their breath harvard Gazette

"Tanya Streeter dives as deep as 400 feet on one breath, which she can hold for more than six minutes."

  • @MotionFur yes, very few ppl can, and they are swimming one way down, these divers are swimming around much more.. from side to side etc.

  • @mniel0

If you're telling me that you don't consider it likely that SHE is holding her breath for 5+ mins, then I don't care, I didn't say she is. I only stated should be holding her breath, or breathing thru scuba gear off camera. These clips could also be of her going down and resurfacing multiple times, with the resurfacing edited out because it's not actually interesting to watch.

  • Someone said mantas are aggressive? Where the hell did they read that?

They dont have a stinger, they dont even have teeth!

It's like a basking shark, compleatly harmless

Well, the really big ones can get to about 20 feet aross and weight up to 3000lbs so I guess it could always just sit on you xD

  • @TimKai91 Huh?? They'll stab you with their tales.

  • @porn1978 No, STING rays will. Manta rays do not have tails.

  • @666rogue666 1:19 looks like a tail to me :3

  • @Rammball i tthink he ment stinger spur

  • @TimKai91 isn't it possible that you can get swallowed whole by a basking?

  • @hig12345678 Nope, their mouths are sort of like giant sieves.

They only eat plankton which are like tiny shrimps so they just swim back and forth hoovering them up, they couldn't swallow you if they tried

  • @TimKai91 Thanks for the information!

  • can you eat these?

  • cool video of manta rays.

    stupid comments.

    typical.

    sorry for that.

thanks for video BBCWW. beautiful creatures.

  • Except Steve Urwin was killed by a Stingray, not a Manta Ray. They are two completely different things.

  • @cukimerrydoll whats the difference.lol

  • i've swam with 3 manta rays in my lifetime and i'm 11!

  • i dont care if they are gentle or not if i saw one of those id get my butt out of the water!

  • what i would give to dive with those.....

  • whether they r dangerous or not..... they r really very beautiful creatures.... ever seen

  • @spyderjosh if u get a diving license and go to hawaii, u can dive with a group and see them urself. dont count urself out to see them :)

  • I was very lucky to spot nine of these magnificent creatures with my instructor in Anilao Batangas Philippines during my Open Water Diving Certification way back 2008.

  • Sublime.

  • Such graceful creatures .. although all sea creatures are graceful ... but the sea flyers : ) ahhhhh

  • such graceful creatures... the woman swims like a mermaid...

  • Stunning encounter !

  • That was incredible. Thanks Sharkie :-)

  • Great huh ?

This is what diving makes so interesting. You'll never know what you are going to see that day.

  • Indeed ,but also kinda scary, not knowing!

  • Traffic is deadlier than shark encounters. Still the idea of being attacked is a bad one...

A diver takes a risk every time he gets wet. You often have to sign a paper that you will not blame the diveshop if sth happens, it certainly is a possible thing to happen. Today I read about a collapsing minaret that killed dozens of Maroc ppl, we will never know when, where and how...

  • Als je dit nu ziet he....

Gaat 't dan niet weer kriebelen ?

Om lekker de boel, de boel te laten, koffertje pakken en hoppetee ?

    :o)

    Lijkt me wel !

    Heel gaaf !

  • How long can she hold her breath O_O?

  • @LijnFtWhoopy When you train to free dive you can hold your breath for like 2 minutes easy

  • MANTARAY Mantaray

  • Yep

  • shes got a nice ass

  • does she just hold her breath underwater?

  • Yeah she is a deep sea free diver (i think)

  • that chicks small enough to be a plankton lol

  • sounds hot too

  • Comment removed

  • You must of commented on the wrong video :\, this video shows a glimpse of the gentle interaction with manta rays. Also there is nothing to do with climate in this video, just pure gentle interaction with one of the worlds most magnificent creatures.

  • @unordinarlee they dangerous wonder why they wouldn't have stinged her?

  • @kkdb22

no they are not dangerous. they dont have a barb.

  • ok? This is a wild animal and you telling me that manta ray arent dangerous after 1 killed steve irwin by stabbing him in the heart?

  • Comment removed

  • @kkdb22 they dont have a barb like the Sting ray

  • @kkdb22 Actually the one that killed steve erwin was of the sting ray family. It is called a bull sting ray. They are some of the more aggressive rays. They are rather small but can get 5-10 feet. Manta Rays have no barb. Because of their size, they are not preyed upon and thus do not need a barb and have adapted as such.

  • @kkdb22 You make it sound like it did it on purpose. They aren't dangerous at all, even though a Manta Ray didn't kill Steve Irwin. The reason he died was because he pulled the barb out of him. If he would have left it in and gotten proper medical attention, he wouldn't have died. You look so ignorant -_-

  • @kforkarson u not making any sense, "the reason he died was because he pulled the barb out of him." Now thats a ignorant statement.

  • @kkdb22 No...it's the truth. It isn't the exact reason, but pulling it out didn't help much at all. Leaving it in, he would have had a chance to possibly get the poison treated. But by pulling it out, he also had to worry about bleeding to death on top of the poison. It's only common sense, man :)

  • @kkdb22 stupid also.Read book more, dont play internet too much boy.

  • @JusticeisunreaL nobody didnt ask u, mind yo mind business u lil immature bitch

  • @unordinarlee your point of view of these creatures is amazing because animals like these and something that the eye can truly behold. These are one of the many animals that leave me in awe right now

  • who is the woman? name?

  • how does she hold her breath that long!!!!

  • I want one of those fins

  • imagine opening your closet at night and one of those comes out right as a flash of lightning happens.

  • rofl

  • she can be under water realy mrealy long :O

  • no really no, I can do it

  • manta rays don't sting thy have no barb STING rays do have a barb a poisonous one at that

  • manta rays dont sting you noob lmao

  • they eat plankton. pay attention -_-

  • they dont eat people moron. they dont even have teeth -_-

  • Jacques Cousteau once referred to manta rays as the great abortionists of the sea. True story.

  • @muttonbuster its because his children were eaten by manta rays

  • How, exactly, could a situation in which a baby could be eaten by a manta ray possibly arise?

  • Baby falls in ocean. Evil ray gobbles it up. simple. Happens alot

  • People don't take babies on boats, and if they did they would be caring enough to prevent it from falling overboard.

And I shouldn't even have to point out that manta rays don't have teeth, and physically can't eat a baby.

  • manta rays are AWESOME I

  • i was in my miami house and i was in my beach and one of those swam right next to me...they are so gentle =]

  • manta ray's don't sting they don't have stingers :D-elly

  • That must of been remarkable. I would love to fly underwater with one of those majestic beauty's.

  • its hard to believe that theyre swimming around somewhere as i watch this

  • wow amazing! i want to swim with manta rays. i love them

  • Who is the diver?

  • I see...it's Tania :)

  • she looks like a mermaid underwater and those mantas r huge
