What I think is more interesting is that Susan engenders such passion on botrh sides. At least no one seems indifferent to her. Susan Boyles version is far superior to this. It is beautiful, but perfectly restrained.

Charlotte on the other hand gets carried away, trying to be too clever and actually undermines the excellent effort she put in earlier.

I must disappoint you. Charlotte was not the first to come up with that song as it was composed 1970 by the Rolling Stones.

But Charlotte was the first to come up with that song in this beautiful Tori Amos stile. And Susan Boyles version obviously covers Charlotte's version. I like both, but I prefer Susann's version a little bit more as it is much more dramatic.
