  • i think its bs how she kills herself. that guy deserved to die, hes a pig. she shouldnt fell bad about killing him. what does the gun symbolize?

  • nice!

  • I'd like to share thoughts with you, JevenDovey, about your movie. Correct me if I misunderstood.

The girl=the slaves (as Nietzsche describes them) because she believes in God.

The guy who beaten her=the masters because he doesn't care about morality and listens to his passions by beating the girl.

I understand that the gun (God) is used by the slaves against the masters (she shoots the guy)and themselves (she shoots herself), but why does God/gun comes from the masters?

  • When the gun first appears in the film it is not the "God/gun." It undergoes a transformation once it is in the hand of Louise. When it is in Phils hand it is an expression of power.

The "God" aspect doesn't come directly from the masters but is a creation from within the slaves; destroying the masters and themselves at the same time.

    Hope that answered your question.

  • Yes thank you!
