Anyone got any news on if Talim, Yun Seung, Zasalamel or Setsukas weapons will be available for DLC on the CaW modes? Only way I can see them getting in this game really - if they release the weapons and CaW parts for their outfits.

To me this is the worst soul calibur ever. They neutered Mitsurugi and took out his Relic move sets. they got really lazy with the characters and instead of keeping Zasalamel, Talim and Setsuka, they instead add three Mimic characters in Kilik, Edgemaster and Elsyium and get even more lazy when they add two versions of two different characters in Pyrra and Patroklos (alpha and omega). Then they add just one lame over arching story and take out all the individual plots.

Tips: After you beat the story mode you will get the "Hidden SoulCalibur". It's Soul Calibur in some hidden form, when you customize or make a new character with the Siegfried move set, you will be able to make the character wield SC.

wait had afew more gripes i just remembered. Misturugi is mess up. his Sheath stance is gone. Kilik is messed up. why do we have three characters that cycle through random weapons. KNightmares double kick combo is gone. Xiba attacks are terrible compared to Kiliks older move sets

the fighting in great the graphics are fantastic.but the campaign mode is well utterly terrible. Soul Calibur three has The best single player campaign.

Over all SC5 is a good game.. In many aspects it's better than the 4.. It's faster and some of the characters are a lot of fun like natsu viola and zwei. What's really unfortunate is the absence of guarde impacts and a lot of important characters (Zasalamel, Talim, Rock, Yun Seong..)

I say soul blade was actually the best, but hey my opinion. and I think it was a little rushed. Ive played it, and I think they left out a lot. If it wasn't rushed, They weren't thinking about quite a few things. CC had so few things its outrageous. They took out characters they didn't need to, or changed them. arcade was short as hell, and there shouldve been multiple story modes. But hey, just my opinion. Which I enjoy expressing. :D

I returned this game a few days after I bought it...story mode sucked. the unlockable characters suck (because 2 of them are just characters with different weapons and the others use all weapons). theres few modes. legendary souls mode sucks (cause all u do is get your arse kicked). they change the moveset in every friggen game and the best move set was the first few soul caliburs. the fighting is almost exactly like number 4 without the option to deflect attacks which soul calibur was known for

This game was definitely not rushed.. anyone who plays will realize that. But I've gotta say, story mode, and offline features in general were kinda disappointing. Story mode would've been much more immersive if it were all done in cutscene. I don't even wanna talk about arcade mode... but I will. Without any story elements revealed in arcade mode, I had no incentive to play it with any character I'm bad at.. or at all really. Online is definitely the best I've ever seen, but offline dissapoints

@chillvillman Perhaps but in terms of a solid fighter its doing well in my eyes. The character customization is incredibly deep and the game provides a teeth grinding challenge in Legendary Souls mode. The new characters are incredibly fun to use I am using Zwei myself. The fighting engine feels incredibly smooth it almost has shades of Soul Calibur 2 in it. Overall I am pleased with it and already put in tons of time into the game.
