  • you have some great stuff here

  • all you have to do is cycle your vitamins

they build up in your system and its the waste of that which turns toxic

12 - 28 days is a good cycle period for most vitamins and supps

Take a couple weeks break and start again :)

  • Wise words, thanks.

  • btw: my panic attacks are now mostly a 'night thing'. Wich really drives me crazy! I wake up shaking and my heart can't stop racing... Really scary, eventhough i have been looked after in hospital by a cardiologist. The anxiety is distroying me. My nerves are ruined. :-(

  • @huisvrouwtjuh I can relate to u man. But Sometimes I get that from drinking too much. And It is not a good feeling at all.But from what i hear vitamin B complex is good to help all that.

  • @MrIntroe Thanks for your reply, i get vitamine B12 shots and they help a little to recover my nerve system. I don't drink alcohol since 3 months anymore, stopped drinking because i 've quit smoking and the two were a perfect match together you see? So in a way i have won 2 battles at one time. Still have these nasty nightly" panic attacks though. I am exhausted from that by now... I try to seek comfort in my religion and that helps a little. :-) (i'm a woman, btw, lol)

  • I have a hereditary form of periphiral neuropathy, high doses of any B vitamins are contraindicated, can cause further damage to the nerves. I think that in general, taking mega doses of anything is questionable at best.

  • @tickyul Linus Pauling took large doses of Vitamin C for years and he lived to be over 90.

And Abram Hoffer took large doses of pretty much everything (see video: Hoffer's Health) and he lived to be over 90 as well.

  • @xleax Uh, yeah and my post specifically addressed B VITAMINS. I also know that if you are eating a good diet you probably will only need to take a good quality, broad spectrum multi vitamin/mineral. And Pauling living to 90 proves what....that vitamin C will make you live extra long.........correlation does not equal causation. Also, some people can get mineral imbalances with too much C, can also get kidney stones.

  • Thumbs up to my mate MARMITE :)

He is full of the B's

  • Wrong way to be healthy... No one artificial drug or even vitamin will be fully acceped by our body as much as natural one. The vitamines from a farmacy are not so effective as the vitamines that natural products contan. This is smart way to cheat a lot of people: "this one tablet contains 5(10, 20, 50.... ect.) doses of the 1 intake of the vitamine!" And you think: - Wow! Instead of eating 2-5 bags of carrot, it's just to take 1 tablet - and that it!- I'm fine for 1-3 weeks! :-))))

  • @iliana99ila pills don't work in case of vitamine B12, but injections will.

I eat veggies, but not enough. i think these injections are great!

You have to be careful with vitamines though, like vit D? You can overdose on that one and it will destroy your kidney's doesn't it? Maby i'm wrong here. Just remembering readiig something about that. :-)

  • @huisvrouwtjuh I just seen something on CNN website suggestion the same thing but they added Liver to the list of things if you take too much. But I have yet to see what anyone feels is too much. I take 5000 UI a day, at least I was until today.

  • @HostileHST Interseting! I will ask my doctor, i 'm going there tommorow anyways. Let you know what he said about vitamin D okay? It's just that i v'e lost a lot of my hair laterly and that makes me sad. :-( I alredy use the B12, but it seems not enough. don't know.. For a woman it is kinda weird to lose half of your hair. I even cut it short, so it does not show.. Luckely i'm blond. :-)

  • @huisvrouwtjuh Please do tell what he has to say. I was told if it's an oil, you will only use what you need and pass the rest (actually, that might of been water based which is what I take). IDK, this stuff confuses most people and I'm one of them!

  • @huisvrouwtjuh Have you ever heard of "co-factors"??? This is all of the parts of the food that enhance and support the useful assimilation of the TARGET nutrient, some of them have yet to be identified by man. For instance take an egg, it has a lot of b12 and many other nutrients that support the assimilation of this very important vitamin.

  • @tickyul Hi, sorry i forgot to reply here. I have asked my doctor and he said about the vitamine D pretty much what i expected. It's indeed damaging to several parts inside your body when overdosing it. Except for vit B and C. Lately i learned about the vit C it seems not to do ANYthing?? Another reason for me to 'go see the doctor' again. lol. I still get an injection with vitB12 once a month and i still lose my hair. I have a rash on my head now too. feeling sad and depressed. can be hormonal.

  • @huisvrouwtjuh Well, what would you like the Vitamin C to do for you, it is good for some things and probably does not work for others. I take Vitamin C for my neuropathy, works great to take down the pain and inflammation. Do not know if it is good for other things, YMMV. I think this if possible, the best way to get nutrients is through your diet, I take the C because I need LOTS when the pain flares up.

  • @iliana99ila One of the most nutritious foods is not eaten that much anymore......the dreaded organ meats......liver, heart, kidneys, etc..........I luv'em.

  • I take a vitamin for cardio health, which has many B vitamins in it. It helps with blood pressure, and does help with anxiety. However, it will make your urine more yellow than usual. Nothing to worry about, but don't take too much. Everything in moderation.

  • Thanks for a really balanced video and mentioning orthomolecular medicine and some really good herbs.

  • I can't find your website at kensvitaminminute. com. You mentioned you had all this info in a written form there.

    Thank you.

  • I take a B complex for the theraputic managment of my anxiety/panic. It works better than any anti depressannt ive ever tried. No lie. Good video man, I will start to take a few days off for my body to unburden, etc. (Although I take pretty low doses anyways).

  • @BaileyLush i've learned that it can help bipolar disroder, which is why i'm looking into it. i don't want to take lithium or anything crazy thats going to change my personaillty and stuff, i hear magnesium works just liek lithium. so i sure hope i am successful with it, like you have been with your depression

  • @BaileyLush I agree with you, i also have these B12. For 2 reasons; i have anxiety attacks and i have a gastric-band, wich makes it harder for my stomach and other intestens to absorp B12. It does give energy too.

  • @BaileyLush how many tablets you use each day?

  • @BaileyLush how many tablets you use each day?

  • @BaileyLush try magnesium also (it needs b6 to be absorbed) it did wonders for my anxiety, 1 month of 400mg of mag and im a new man

  • Another really good balanced explanation.

  • i take the stuff cause i drink alot

  • man i take those b complexes but sometimes my pee is green lolololol

  • you gotta take it when you got to bed if you take it during the day you will piss it out thus your pee being green

  • Wow, you really know your stuff! Great informative job!

  • Question: I take ZMA as a workout supplement, and it includes ~10 mg B6 per serving, taken daily. Do you think this is problematic?

  • Good info for my nutrition class -Very helful to understand practical aspects of B's caveats. Very cool. ;-)

  • Excellent info, Ken. Thanks!
