  • the is questions is when the car is going to start moving back NOT did it past the safety standards

  • It's fully understandable why each test is worse and finally 90 is the worst. After 2 big crashes, that poor repaired twice Ford Sierra can't stand that damn fake tree at all xD

  • @uprightbassmatt unibody can't be repaired if you watch all 3 videos the firewall moves (the dash is connected to the firewall)meaning the engine is being pushed into the firewall so its not the same car 3 times its 3 different cars with the same paint job.

  • 50, 70 r 90, ur fucked anyway!

  • 1:17 you can see the dummy's neck fly out the rear window

  • No. this is not the worst car in the world!

Because, even if you smash a brand new 5 star car into a tree in 90 km/h, you will not survive! A tree will cut into the car as a warm knife in butter...

It is not the worst car. Even so: don't compare 20 years old cars it with newer cars!

But, keep in mind: a tree is lethal for every car, even new, drive with care!

  • Adding some info to my previuos comment:

Compare to the Laguna hitting a tree, newer car, godd rating in NCAP, bigger tree with bigger area (helps the car), and still:

Horrendous damage, maybe survival but with seriuos injuries.

  • Did not succed to add a link, but search for "Fifth Gear laguna crash test "

  • @hultarn you're a moron go look at a new 7series bmw you will be fine even at 90kph

  • @TheAcehd : nice with polite comments...

I looked around, but could not find a tree crash with 7-series.

Please show me where to find it.

A crash into to a barrier is always something else, don't mix it with trees!

  • @TheAcehd

I wouldn't really say 'fine' after crashing into a tree at 90kph... even in a 7 series

  • @jakubgt1 fine as in not dead

  • worst car in the world

  • sierra is piece of crap

  • engineering at its finest

  • I think that when ford bought volvo, they got some help building safer cars, just saying

  • driver would be done

  • Sierra crush box death trap. I hit one in my Mondeo, police said combined speed was 36 mph but we both survived.

  • miksi ihmeessä tuohon on lisätty huono musiikki? Olis ollu ihan mukava saaha selevää mitä se selostaja kertoo.

  • i believe at 90 the driver is the crumple zone. i call the trunk :D

  • i ll slow down.thanks good vid.

  • 90 Km/h death !

  • This car does poorly in every test so even in the 50 km/h you'd be hurt, a newer car with airbags might have stopped your neck from snapping back at 50/70 and your head flying around with 90

    This car sucks anyway

  • @bijtje15 shit that was Km? I thought it was MPH!

  • ... there it goes your neck...

  • Black boxes are the only things that survive in a plane accident, why don't they make the cars with the same material?

  • @jcvfantasies the cars need crumple zones, or else much more of the kinetic force will be froced into the driver and passengers, killing them.

  • If I bought the Queen Mary and put wheels on it, somehow, in this galaxy, it still wouldn't be unsafe.'Safety' is a consumer term, and not applicable to a space environment. What word is applicable to the harshness of space?

  • wow. 90==fatality!!!!

  • 1:12 honey, what a nice road trip into the forest!

1:21 honey, we hit a tree!

  • They had some work to do on the car between the tests =)

  • lol head came off at 90....well you can still be safe...just stay below 50 :)

  • wow

  • Ok. Forget the wood. Start to make plastic poles.

  • At 90 kph the dummy's head came off :|. Dammit! Get a Volvo! At that speed wont neccesairly save your ass from dieing, but at least your family will have a complete corpse...

  • Finnish O_O

  • Shitty old Ford...

  • I believe you wouldn't crash with 90 kmph unless you're sleeping. when you feel the danger you just hit the brakes as a reflex. and in that 140kmph highways the road is seperated with barriers. you could only hit another car from behind which also has a velocity. so your relative speed in crash time could be 40-50 kmph. that's why they make these test max. 60 kmph I guess.

  • booooo! I wanted mph, not kmh. Shit would get fucked.

  • damn those steel reinforced trees.

  • @CanNibble I don't know if i understand correctly but in my country national limit speed is 50 km/h...and yes, speed kills.

  • @Firekage: 50 km/h also on highways? no way :D

  • @Ultrajuiced On highways we have now 140 but that is not the point. For an example, in Germany there is not any limit speed on highways but in cities law is very strict, and tickets are high, and because of this drivers go with respect to the law, the do not break limit speed when in my country because of low tickets for speeding, almost every one do it - also foreginers...Highest tickets cost 500 zł, it's around 120 euro....

  • Ford = fraude

  • Already at 70kmh the neck snaps off - look at 0:45 and 0:50

  • wow i want a Ford Sierra...

  • i want a tree

  • OUCH - watch 1:20 ... dummy gets decaptivated at 90kph/56mph

  • @andreasausmuc

    dummy gets what?

  • @MrPlky

    sorry - decapitated

  • fuck @ 56mph that dummies head came off!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good video. This is why speeding can kill

  • Decapatation would probably have happened at 70 as well.

  • Death is highly likely at 70 and 90 MPH. Interesting video.

  • 70 and 90 KPH(km/h)
