a cyclone was coming & people were asked to pray. when a theist was asked 'did god send it?" she screeched "NOOOOOO". when asked "can god stop it? "she screeched "NOOOOOO". then she said it made the people feel better.
@bajajoes1 Then why even imagine the idea that there is a god. If god is unknowable and doesn't do anything against what we'd see as natural, then tada, it probably doesn't exist.
your stupid dude i'd rather remain sceptical than blindly and foolishly believe everything i'm told i don't trust anyone lest of all those who are undiserving of my trust like a fool like yourself! bye
I am always highly sceptical of documentaries hosted by a voiceover which sounds like an advert for Prozac. Like 'Quantum Communication'. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Thank you for posting this, despite your obvious inclination to disregard science in favour or religion. And though I disagree whole-heartedly with your opinion, I am happy to see at least one person of religious "faith" who is willing to listen to other ideas.
@ChantryKnight He only posted it because it contradicts the big-bang which contradicts the literal interpretation of the holy bable (which he holds) that the universe was created 6000 years ago (not 13 billion like the big-bangers say). Altough the literal interpretation implies that the earth is flat and sky is firm which is exactly what the ancient authors of the bable believed. So I really don't understand how can someone in his right mind argue that the bible is literally true.
"As matters stand at present, there is no better astronomic theory for the origin of the universe than the inspired explanation of Scripture."
As time comes and go, there is no better astronomic theory for the origin of the universe than the uninspired explanation of a bunch of ignorant peasants who didn't even know what an "universe" is. (since a flat earth covered by a solid skydome with "luminators" attached to it do not imply the existence of one in the first place)
I love when those whose grasp of 'religion' comes from the likes of Dawkins and/or what's posted on youtube by nuts who've read maybe the Bible maybe once or twice. The thunderbolts group's ideas vindicate my religion entirely. I believe they will eventually see things my way, allow that the expanding earth fits into their paradigm, and even accept that the planets, stars, systems, galaxies, and even the universe are not only alive, but awake, aware, and in charge.
Would this new understanding enable us to understand space travel? Maybe we could use the galactic electric field (if there is such a thing) to travel rather than slingshotting.
Plasma model vs Electric model? What's the big difference? Important is, that this model(s) are founded upon the electromagnetism and gives us the answer to many things, what Big Bang gravity model can't. This is the future. Humanity should get ready for this next step of evolution.
Injection of "God" and "scripture" into our own thought processes and ability to reason will always result in some kind or another of defensiveness against new information. Our problem is how is this information being interpreted and channeled in terms of both context and neutrality so that we remain free to accept or reject as we see fit? First hand experience, individual experiences that have no particular thesis or projection beyond their immediate perception, impel only curiosity, not dogma.
"there are limits to the domain of natural science."
Nope....not given the time to explore. If we do not destroy ourselves over religion and hate the answers will come forth. The beginning is simple, it's what happened afterwards that gets complicated. Consciousness has Mass and was there and it's weight caused it to oscillate. Why not start sooner or later? Because this is how long it took to create this many atoms, small clocks with 4 phases of oscillation.
Good stuff. Mr. Thornhill I have some additions though. All planets were once stars. They are all different stages of matter creation via stars, and eventually destruction, via their new host stars. The giant red spot on Jupiter is a planet's iron core currently being vaporized, which is why it's red and has been around for centuries. How many storms have you seen last for centuries? It's an orbiting moon right inside of it's atmosphere! More later.
im starting to think electricity and electromagnetism as we can describe it in the tiniest ways we can is actually in reality on a massively large macroscale of what makes it tick, but i dont know why. im getting that feeling. more thought required
The only two things that really exist are particles and the electromagnetic radiation they produce when they collide at a center point which binds to the incoming particles which creates everything else in between

IF the Universe is eternal without beginning or end, would that indicate "GOD" is in/of it?
Perhaps "GOD" is an imponderable due to Man's limitations.

The Earth was flat and the center of the universe ... Gosh.... even if Big Bang is false, this is still just a big bullshit joke ROFL

"evolutionary models like the Big Bang"
Come again? The Big Bang is not an "evolutionary model". It's the best explanation for all the cosmological observations to date.

Your words in the description are awesome. Some want to be accepted/respected by the establishment so they compromise.
