This Perez Prado version is from end of 1940's or beginning of 1950's done here rhythm of Rock and Roll. Incredible but it was liked a lot by Americans who thought it was a Cuban song made into American way just for fun or joy of it.
The original I saw is on rhythm of "Seis" de Puerto Rico, a bit faster or the old way to dance what they called it "later Salsa". Makes think if this was one of the first Salsa
Saludos!
