@TheGreatStonedOne: I doubt that, only because people who wake up telling themselves that they will be amazing are, more often than not, the same people who develop overinflated egos. Stephen King, in my opinion, thinks TOO LITTLE of himself and his abilities. He's one of the richest, most well known American writers ever. His name alone is a franchise. And yet he STILL claims that he has no idea why people want to read what he writes.

I think seeing Stephen King reading his story on a Kindle answers the question if e-book publishing is going to evolve and/or here to stay. I believe bound, paper books are always going to be purchased when the story (book) is a treasure. I'll continue to buy both.
