@CHASEya777 Whey protein is milk protein, which has been sited in many studies as promoting cancer cell growth. We don't need the amount protein (particularly from animals) in our diet, that the government food guide recommends. The China Study was a very informative read about animal proteins. Also, watch Forks Over Knives - 2011 documentary - the (free) link is posted on my main page description under Recommended Viewing ... it's eye opening. You need to decide for yourself.
@YiuTeub Excellent, so glad this information is helping others. I highly recommend another video, titled "Forks Over Knives" - it's something you can share with the whole family. The link is on my main page, under Recommended Viewing in my main page description.

I do however consume large amounts of dairy products and I am also overweight which goes to prove most of what he said has merit & Im gonna work on that ~
@HoodwinkedbyanAngel Thanks Michael ! You know, I got started on YT because of meat and then dairy. When I realized we had been lied to, I was astounded, to put it nicely. It's all connected I soon realized, whether our food, water, air, pharmaceuticals, THEY are deliberately poisoning us. I hope U do give up all dairy.... I want to send you two short videos on this subject - it may help and do check out the links. Government studies show direct links to prostate and breast cancer.
the part about cooking your food isn't accurate. Sure, cooking your food destroys some of the good stuff, but it frees the stuff that it doesn't destroy so your body can use more of the good things in cooked food than what it can use with raw foods.
As a biology major I would like to say how logical and sensible his arguments are. In essence I've learned about all this in my college courses, yet I've never connected all the information together like Dr. M. Klaper has done for us. Then again he went through medical school and still didn't see it right away...so I can only imagine how much difficulty the average American has with understanding how the foods they love so much are killing them.
@RudyOD Most people will never make this connection, simply because we are being deceived by these very corporations that stand to profit. The US government spends literally billions of tax payers dollars in subsidies to support the meat and dairy industries. It's quite the scam when you look into it. If the public knew the truth about exactly what is on their plate, how it was produced and the true health implications, well, it would put the economy into a tail spin.
@banthony52 Thank you, I'm glad you appreciated this. It was produced in 1993 - of course the truth never gets old ;o) Dr. Klapper is still around trying to share this information with whoever will listen.
@jacho80 Potatoes are a good thing, as long as it's baked not deep fried. We need startch, whole food starches otherwise we will always be hungry. Dr. McDougall has a webpage you might find very interesting. You can search thousands of articles he has written drmcdougall (dot) com
Sprouts would refer to new growth, such as alfalfa or bean sprouts. People use them in salads and wraps.
Thanks for watching and please share this information with those you care about.
lemon juice is a wonderful seasoning for salads, as is any citrus juice like fresh oranges... its easy to make your own vinnigrettes with olive oil, basalmic vinegar and fruit juices. Fresh herbs make the best seasoning of all :)
dont use ketchup, its loaded with sugars and unnatural things... mayonaise is pure fat. but mustard and especially whole grain mustard are a great source of flavor and minimal to no calories as well :)
Excellent video!!! Really re-enforced and progressed my thoughts on veganism! Also made me feel a bit better about eating grains as opposed to a fully raw diet without any bread, though I still think it is very important to limit bread and cooked meals. Thanks so much for posting. :)
So if i want to change how do i do this? Where do I start? How would i season my foods to still be at least a lil tasty without using tons of salt, animal fat for seasoning, etc. What spices and herbs could I use?
@LOJETE85 - Have a look at the website "vegsource (dot) com. Quite a bit of info and recipes. My first piece of advise is to keep things simple. Eat close to nature not processed foods. Avoid "fake meat" as they can be just as unhealthy. If you like salt, switch to "pink Himalayan salt" in most specialty stores such as Whole Foods. As for spices and herbs... depends on what your cooking, but lots of garlic, basil, oregano, parsley, the list is endless once you get going.
@LOJETE85 I also recommend using organic vegetable broth and soy milk for mashing potatoes and in place of water the veg broth adds so much flavor when cooking rice. If you like vegetables and fruits you will have no problem making many numbers of tasty and healthy meals. I will send you a link by PM that I find very useful, a vitamin and nutrient chart. It will put you at ease so you know you are getting all the health benefits you need from a vegan diet.
@LOJETE85 I can't send message - you have friend lock.
Another interesting website is notmilk (dot) com
It takes a little time to weed out the animal fat and dairy products, as it's in so many foods today. Almost every prepared item has animal products in it, even though it doesn't say outright... the labels are deceiving. A helpful hint is when you look at the "nutritional label" go straight to the "cholesterol" reading... if it says 0% than is doesn't contain animal products.
Thank you so much for uploading this, and the doctor is amaizng. If only i Could find a doctor like this where i lived! Make the change people, doesnt matter what your family or friends say or do, your responsible for your own actions and gaurantee your karma is in good standing!

All animal products will KILL YOU!!! Animal products are the cause of all diseases known to man!!! Everyone needs to adopt a 100% plant based diet. You will get everything you need from fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains and legumes. Make this switch as soon as possible to make yourself and your loved ones extremely healthy. You will have a ton of energy!!! Things to stay away from include whey, casein, lactose and albumin. Also, limit consumption of refined sugars and carbohydrates.
I have been a Vegan for two years. I received my blood test results this past week and everything is perfect and cholesterol 130. You can get everything you need from plants without the sickness/surgeries. Chew on that!
Damn this video really made me change my thoughts on eating animals, thank you so much! Im so glad i am making changes now that im 19 and still young. Just the thought of packed frozen meat and dead animals is DISGUSTING!
@aruiz1990 Wow, nice to hear - truly. I wish I was your age when someone told me... I think my life may have been somewhat different. If you are ever so inclined.... and it's not for the faint of heart, the video that changed the way I see animals and humans is "EARTHLINGS".

Very informative, even though partially untrue. Fish is not as high in cholesterol as this guy makes it out to be, and does contain healthy fats. He's exactly right about too much protein, meat should be eaten in small portions. Humans are natural omnivores however, since proportionally our intestines are a lot simpler and shorter then herbivores, and we lack the ability to digest cellulose. The worst part about this video is it's endorsement of grains, which can't even be digested unprocessed.
Ooh, thanks. All these great doctors on YouTube. I'll research this, along with cod liver oil (better, so I think) and krill oil. My aunt had a skin condition, and cod liver oil did work effectively in her case, although I can't say if krill oil, or even a plant based oil like flax would be better. I'm a strong proponent of eating nutrients in their natural state, in the form of food, so I wouldn't take strong concentrations of nutrients from oils or supplements anyway. Thanks for this again.
@bleezy650 Nuts... I went to favor your comment and hit the (-) I will fix it tomorrow. (sorry)

Thanks and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. We truly have been lied to about our food. Animal protein is hazardous to our health. The China Study by T. Colin Campbell PhD re-enforces it 100%. It is the longest study ever conducted between diet and food. It scared me straight so to speak.
Sugar is a bad thing. This is another "truth" i've come to learn. There's way too much sugar added to our diet! It's in everything. Look at the ingredients list! Also look for sodium!
Beautifull last part to this video. I wish there were more people like him. This program felt closer to the truth than most things. It might not fit perfectly, but it's very close. Human knowledge is abstract. The human mind is abstract. Sooner or later, however, we come to a conclusion. The more I learn, the more this conclusions has pointed to fruits/vegetables/nuts. The more it has pointed away from harming animals and spoiling our environment, and to the future and space travel.
That doctor did alot of research and if you look up this woman called suprememasterching she was interviewed about not only being a vegetarian helps you but helps global warming, being a vegitarian can save the environment and you,so take this information with alot of grains because your gonna need it.;D LOL.

Read a book with 450 page of research, or listen to this guy who never quoted any research. Good Calorie Bad Calorie has hundreds of scientific studies. This guy just talked like he was God, and knows everything. He did not support anything with research. Be onist with yourself, did this guy quote any research to back up his statements ??????? NO

This is making me hungry for a nice big steak. Yes eating lots of bread you won't get fat, and I have some ocean front property in Arizona for sale. It's just $ 500,000 give me a call tonto.
Thanks for your comment and although it is 15 years old, the information never changes... that's the good part ! We have been decieved by all the corporations, government and medical agencies - we are being primed and ready to be handed off to the pharmaceutical industry.
LOL it reminds me of Lisa Simpson when after becoming vegetarian, she was trying to be brainwashed with at school with a pro-meat video, all the other kids fell on that one.
Great presentation. Imagime the health and environmental benefits to folks if they would simply take heed of this. Then again, imagine how powerful industries with their lobbiest would suffer if people did follow this. They can kiss my tuchas.
Well said ! No doubt your statement about the lobbiest would have major impact yet this will never be allowed to happen.... we do all vote with our purchases, people need to realize this. Thanks for your comment and please share !
I don't look at spelling.... it happens when we are in a hurry to get our point across. I find most "shills" out there seem to pick on those sort of things. Better things to worry about ;o)
Ok, I'm on the last video and change sucks. Quitting meat is like being castrated. Samurai's ate sushi, tribes eat fish, and cowboys eat steak. The only vegans I know that are cool are Ian MacKaye (minor threat and fugazi) and Mac Danzig (mma fighter).
It's like anything else, you have to want to do it. Hey, I love smoking, but gave it up because I know it is a form of slow suicide, just like this documentary discusses. What can I say, I only pass on the information, it's a personal choice for everyone.
Changing to a vegetarian diet all at once isn't a good thing and few would recommend an abrupt stop. Reducing the meat-based components and increasing the vegetable base is essential for your health. If you make choices based on image or personality worship then you are in a heap of trouble in any case.
Thanks so much for the upload! I'm a three-year vegetarian who's recently started the transition into a fully vegan lifestyle -- this was both affirming and very inspiring!
Glad to hear you're making the transitions! It's easier than you think, and if you want a little extra help, watch my feature on my main page "Milk - The Deadly Poison"... in addition check out some of the links under the video description. Good luck and health to you!
it makes me very happy. ive been vegan for years now and i can honestly say it was the best decision i've made. perhaps you needed to figure out what to eat more.... i didnt know what to eat at first. and many ppl assume i eat salads as meals. haha. i dont. i think as i gained knowledge on what to eat and shop for, my diet improved. but you said you were vegan for 2-3 years. so i guess by then youd have found things. hm... i dont know. sorry to hear it didnt make you feel good. :(
Monkeys eat the occasional terminte, ant, but that is not a normal daily practise. They prefer fruit & berries. Now about meat for humans. I would bet that if you tasted a piece of flesh in the wild, without BBQ sauce or seasoning you would be sick. We feed the animals different food to make their flesh have a better taste and look. As a mom, I remember being taught to feed my infant meat first, & was told they hate the taste, but if I gave them fruit and veg first they would never eat meat.
Thanks and I truly enjoyed this video. I'm not a vegan but consume less animal food and more plant one due to my culture, a Japanese. I hardly drink milk but never had calcium problem and am even diagnosed my bone is 130% superior to my peers. Didn't know why but now I got it.
I guess it's difficult to give up animal food completely but we can make small changes. Let's do what makes us feel better!
Thanks for your comment. This video truly does teach us about the consequences for animal protein. I agree that any changes an indiviudal can make should improve not only their health but help the environment as well as the animals involved.
I can't say for certain that he mentions B12,but if you eat organic produce (from your garden) don't wash them to death, and just eat them as a natural - rinsed product... B12 occurs in dirt... however if you live near a factory farm... forget it... it will be poisoned with ecoli ... B12 can be purchased in an organic... no animal product vitamin supplement... have one a day or every other day... it's not a big deal, but it is something we need to have in our system from time to time.
No disrespect meant by the following tagurit2. Eating tofu and substitute meats are not a healthy choice, its still a processed food. If you want to really feel good, you eat all the colours and what grows - not substitutes which are again, man made and sometimes just as unhealthy as the products you are giving up. I tried subing cheese with soy cheese only to learn it still contained casein (animal protein) and transfat. It's a discovery & a process for most people. Eat simple basic food.
Okay, so I've just got done watching all 6 videos and I love meat and I really love cheese but I am going to try this. I can see how hard its going to be to stop eating animal but I am 27 5'8 and 175bl, I am not fat, I'm just not happy with the way I feel. I will tell you how it is going in a month.
Wow, I'm impressed. emember that it's not so much what you see on the outside that counts. I've known some pretty lean and healthy looking people, but ended up having heart attacks, cancer, etc. These animal products didn't exist in these massive qualtities in the early 1900's. The shift in the way people eat has been catastrophic to health, environment & of course animals in factory farms. This is also of concern as it promotes swine and avian flu... it will end up biting us in the butt.
Watch "Mad Cowboy" if you haven't already..... it might make this shift a whole lot easier. It's on my Vlog ....
One other note.... eat lots of potatoes, grains (rice) and pastas, beans and build around them.... if it grows - enjoy it and eat all you want. You will never be hungry - but you will be feeling pretty good !
Everyone needs this information to make an educated decision. I am so glad you watched this and I will bet you will live a long and healthy life with the right changes. Keep it simple and remember this... eat nothing that has or came from a "face".
Glad you enjoyed it... it really draws you right in. I'm not trying to convert anyone, please don't think that - I am only presenting the information. You have to admit, it sure makes sense though. I'm a logical thinker and when I see clogged arteries and understand why that is, well it's a no brainer.
If you say that about potatoes, than I guess that would apply to many other root veggies... turnip, yam, parsnip, beets. I personally love them all.
I have a question... what do you think about Whey protein??? that is Cholesterol free, containing only 1g of fat and 0.5g saturated fat per serving
CHASEya777 1 day ago

You might be interested in "Food Inc.", it was in the theater last year and I have a direct "free" link on my main page under "about me".

Thanks ! It's quite the eye opener for many. I just hope it will save lives. To me personally, this all makes perfect sense.

Thanks Diane! Just watched the whole series. Amazing information.
CGArtSuccess 2 years ago 2
Thanks and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. We truly have been lied to about our food. Animal protein is hazardous to our health. The China Study by T. Colin Campbell PhD re-enforces it 100%. It is the longest study ever conducted between diet and food. It scared me straight so to speak.

Sugar is a bad thing. This is another "truth" i've come to learn. There's way too much sugar added to our diet! It's in everything. Look at the ingredients list! Also look for sodium!
gukonni 2 years ago 2

NO

@RobsnVegas
Uhhh. He quoted a lot of research. Did you just watch the whole series of videos or just this one last 6th of it? I'm guessing just the last one huh?

This is outdated crap.
Look up Dr Weil endorses Good Calorie Bad Calorie.
Carbs kill, not fat.
I've lost 18 lbs avoiding carbs, and how much have you lost avoiding fats ??
P.S. I will repost in a couple weeks when I've lost 25 lbs. :)

This is making me hungry for a nice big steak. Yes eating lots of bread you won't get fat, and I have some ocean front property in Arizona for sale. It's just $ 500,000 give me a call tonto.

This is anti-climatic from all that nutritional learning from public schools. What an actual lie. Now I know it is not a need for animal meats.
Nice presentation. Surprised this was over 15 years ago. Not going to get anything good like this at this present time. Thanks Dr. Klaper.
doctorofghetto 2 years ago 9
Thanks for your comment and although it is 15 years old, the information never changes... that's the good part ! We have been decieved by all the corporations, government and medical agencies - we are being primed and ready to be handed off to the pharmaceutical industry.
DianeDi 2 years ago
@doctorofghetto
LOL it reminds me of Lisa Simpson when after becoming vegetarian, she was trying to be brainwashed with at school with a pro-meat video, all the other kids fell on that one.
jacho80 1 year ago
Great presentation. Imagime the health and environmental benefits to folks if they would simply take heed of this. Then again, imagine how powerful industries with their lobbiest would suffer if people did follow this. They can kiss my tuchas.
flyhead2 2 years ago 4
Well said ! No doubt your statement about the lobbiest would have major impact yet this will never be allowed to happen.... we do all vote with our purchases, people need to realize this. Thanks for your comment and please share !
DianeDi 2 years ago
Wasn't that well said (written), at least two glaring typos are painfully evident. :0x Thanks for the reply.
flyhead2 2 years ago
I don't look at spelling.... it happens when we are in a hurry to get our point across. I find most "shills" out there seem to pick on those sort of things. Better things to worry about ;o)

Ok, I'm on the last video and change sucks. Quitting meat is like being castrated. Samurai's ate sushi, tribes eat fish, and cowboys eat steak. The only vegans I know that are cool are Ian MacKaye (minor threat and fugazi) and Mac Danzig (mma fighter).
sludgedozer 2 years ago
It's like anything else, you have to want to do it. Hey, I love smoking, but gave it up because I know it is a form of slow suicide, just like this documentary discusses. What can I say, I only pass on the information, it's a personal choice for everyone.
DianeDi 2 years ago
Changing to a vegetarian diet all at once isn't a good thing and few would recommend an abrupt stop. Reducing the meat-based components and increasing the vegetable base is essential for your health. If you make choices based on image or personality worship then you are in a heap of trouble in any case.
flyhead2 2 years ago
Thanks so much for the upload! I'm a three-year vegetarian who's recently started the transition into a fully vegan lifestyle -- this was both affirming and very inspiring!
shesyncopated 2 years ago 3
Glad to hear you're making the transitions! It's easier than you think, and if you want a little extra help, watch my feature on my main page "Milk - The Deadly Poison"... in addition check out some of the links under the video description. Good luck and health to you!

I wish I had a chef to cook or not cook me veggy meals every day ..

it makes me very happy. ive been vegan for years now and i can honestly say it was the best decision i've made. perhaps you needed to figure out what to eat more.... i didnt know what to eat at first. and many ppl assume i eat salads as meals. haha. i dont. i think as i gained knowledge on what to eat and shop for, my diet improved. but you said you were vegan for 2-3 years. so i guess by then youd have found things. hm... i dont know. sorry to hear it didnt make you feel good. :(
weird8twiggy 2 years ago
Monkeys eat the occasional terminte, ant, but that is not a normal daily practise. They prefer fruit & berries. Now about meat for humans. I would bet that if you tasted a piece of flesh in the wild, without BBQ sauce or seasoning you would be sick. We feed the animals different food to make their flesh have a better taste and look. As a mom, I remember being taught to feed my infant meat first, & was told they hate the taste, but if I gave them fruit and veg first they would never eat meat.
DianeDi 2 years ago
Thanks and I truly enjoyed this video. I'm not a vegan but consume less animal food and more plant one due to my culture, a Japanese. I hardly drink milk but never had calcium problem and am even diagnosed my bone is 130% superior to my peers. Didn't know why but now I got it.
I guess it's difficult to give up animal food completely but we can make small changes. Let's do what makes us feel better!
omatsu123 2 years ago
Thanks for your comment. This video truly does teach us about the consequences for animal protein. I agree that any changes an indiviudal can make should improve not only their health but help the environment as well as the animals involved.

Unless I missed it, he never said where to derive vitamin B12.
tawny624 2 years ago

DianeDi 2 years ago
Okay, so I've just got done watching all 6 videos and I love meat and I really love cheese but I am going to try this. I can see how hard its going to be to stop eating animal but I am 27 5'8 and 175bl, I am not fat, I'm just not happy with the way I feel. I will tell you how it is going in a month.
pro272727 2 years ago
Wow, I'm impressed. emember that it's not so much what you see on the outside that counts. I've known some pretty lean and healthy looking people, but ended up having heart attacks, cancer, etc. These animal products didn't exist in these massive qualtities in the early 1900's. The shift in the way people eat has been catastrophic to health, environment & of course animals in factory farms. This is also of concern as it promotes swine and avian flu... it will end up biting us in the butt.
DianeDi 2 years ago
Watch "Mad Cowboy" if you haven't already..... it might make this shift a whole lot easier. It's on my Vlog ....
One other note.... eat lots of potatoes, grains (rice) and pastas, beans and build around them.... if it grows - enjoy it and eat all you want. You will never be hungry - but you will be feeling pretty good !

Everyone needs this information to make an educated decision. I am so glad you watched this and I will bet you will live a long and healthy life with the right changes. Keep it simple and remember this... eat nothing that has or came from a "face".

Diane this was great, Time to go to sleep damit, its 90 minutes past my bedtime :)
Soon you're going to convert me to pure veganism.
I am still not sure if we should eat potatoes, if we have to cook them that means we are not designed to eat starches.
golcynski 2 years ago 4
Glad you enjoyed it... it really draws you right in. I'm not trying to convert anyone, please don't think that - I am only presenting the information. You have to admit, it sure makes sense though. I'm a logical thinker and when I see clogged arteries and understand why that is, well it's a no brainer.
If you say that about potatoes, than I guess that would apply to many other root veggies... turnip, yam, parsnip, beets. I personally love them all.
