@IamDaCapo I ordered it from the GSP online guitar music shop (search it on google, then you'll find the music under 4 guitars, L, then the second page) but it didn't arrive, so I've just reorded it through my local retailer.
That's a great song.... People say that it was in Tom and Jerry, Loonie Tunes and so on, but nobody says that: yes, this came from a Hungarian virtouso!
If you notice the heay set guy has a mechanical brace fitted between the lower bout of the guitar and the top of his left thigh. He uses this instead of the 'traditional' foot rest which I never understood as a guitar player. I use a strap and therefore don't have to worry about dropping the guitar and my hands don't get tired from holding on too tight. Besides, it's difficult for heavy people to do the things svelte people can do.
That heavy set guy goes by the name of Scott Tennant, he heads the guitar program up at USC, he will get shit done with or without a mechanical stand, regardless of his size.
@musicman8942 idk if you've ever noticed or not, but a lot of classical guitarist use these "braces" as opposed to footrests. in fact, i went to see these guys a couple nights ago and two of the four of them were using them, scott tennant wasnt using anything. and he still tore it up.
@jacobcs i'm not sure what braces are but my guitar teacher told me that classical guitarists are starting to move away from the footstools because prolonged use of them causes back problems or at least that is something he/other classical guitarists have observed.
@musicman8942 Its all about posture for the classical guitar, with a strap you wouldnt have the same capabilities, tone, or physical ability to sustain playing on the classical guitar. The brace is just a replacement for the footstool, the footstool is just to hold the guitar higher for the left hand. Hope this helped :D
@gonzalo2000 Thats neat! thanks for sharing. Though i wouldnt really see a strap as necessary for me when playing classical guitar sitting down, but hey, if it helps ya play better then go for it.
Wow! Great! But I prefer to play on piano because you do not need eight hands to play it correctly, only two hands and an impressive skill, of course!
The music is the art of sensible and logically that organizes a coherent mix of sounds and silences using fundamental principles of melody, harmony and rhythm, through the intervention of psycho-psychic complex processes.
Bill kanengiser !!!! Maaaaaannnn a greeeeeeatttt guitarist!! i was surprised to find him here in this vid!!! For those who dont know him, hes the guy on the far right with the beard, and also search turkish march, and youll see just a small sample as to why he is one my greatest inspirations
What I like the most is how the sort of flavor of the piece changes with the use of a new instrument. The first melodic theme becomes sort of a tango/bolero latin sort of thing, and the second turns a little bluegrass.
folks .. there is only one thing to say .. fuck all the Haders .. this is fuckin beautiful . Im in Metal , but i also know that the roots of Metal lies in classics .. this is an awsome Piece

This song is indeed playable on 1 guitar. I tried it already but it sounds choppy on 1 guitar alone. Probably need 2 guitars to make it flow nicely.

@zacrichey The strap is not a physical inconvenience. If you look up guitarist David Starobin you can see what he does with the guitar... :)
