Mine turned out fantastic, Those planting spacings are for in ground beds and are needed for access to the plants (walkways and such) but in a raised bed ,totally unnecessary .

Do you get good results from planting them all 1 foot apart? Every place I have seen says plants 1ft apart with rows 4-5 ft apart.

@vedder316 your sources are using traditional rows. this is a bio-intensive raised bed.. thus there are no rows... check out "how to grow more vegetables" on amazon
