I don't think it is just to blame Calvin for "division." To tell the truth, election is a Bible fact which cannot be denied, but it is not easy to understand; nor do we have to understand it. That men inherit a sinful nature from Adam is clearly taught in scripture (e.g., Romans 5). In sin did my mother conceive me. Merely scoffing at that proves nothing. Faith is a requirement, the only requirement man has for salvation. A strong Calvinist should also believe that too.
A strong Calvinist should believe that the means of faith was also part of the election. Evidently faith and regeneration happen at the same instant. The question is which is logically (not temporally) prior. The Bible says "whosoever believes has everlasting life"; not "whosoever has everlasting life will believe." Then the Calvinist asks, "How can a dead man believe?" So there are difficult questions, which we do not have to solve. God is gracious, & man must believe. Some do believe.
Some do believe & thus are accounted as having everlasting life. Yet along comes Eph 1 & Romans 9 and it tells us that before creation, those who would believe were elect. Now Christians have different explanations. Let us not bad-mouth each other over how we sort this out. We just should be humble & appreciative of God's election of us. Then we present the gospel as the Bible does to whosoever will. Election does not contradict whosoever will, tho it may stump us.
I think it unfortunate that the Westboro Bapt Church is put for as as exemplar of Calvinists. It is not a typical example. I doubt even that these people are Christians. Believing the TULIP as fact saves no one. I heard someone referred to as a prophet.
Believing the TULIP does not mean that your are hyperCalvinist to the point that you claim no one should trust Christ as Savior, but just hope for election to kick in some day.
U must understand Calvinism, which is NOT exemplified by Westboro.
T = total depravity. The Calivinist believes that he is a wretched sinner, so evil & vile that he cannot save himself. The depravity to which the Calvinist confesses means that he has no hope as a sinner in having his works validated.
U = unconditional election: The Lord, seeing man in his vileness, seeing that none would choose Him, nevertheless chose certain men to believe & gave them the gift of faith.
L = limited atonement. Christ paid sufficient for all men's sins, but actual atonement resulting in salvation comes only to the elect who believe in the Lord Jesus. They reject universal salvation of all men (no hell; all go to Heaven). Myself, I take this as an error, that Christ died for all men, elect or not; the distinction comes in whether or not man believes.
I = irresistible grace: God's grace in regenerating men is not resistible by men.
Irresistible grace: the other view is common grace; the view that God gives all men enough grace to enable them to believe. (But how can He do that without curing them of spiritual death?)
T = Total depravity. All men inherit the sin nature of Adam and never do any work that honors God because such is not on their menu of possible activity. All men are selfish by nature. (Thus they need a new birth).
P = perseverence of the saints. (once saved, always saved).
Genuine Christians believe in total depravity & in perseverence. If they did not believe in perserverance, then they could not logically believe they were saved (going to Heaven for sure). Believing in the T & the P makes u a 2-point Calvinist. Christians are then rated on whether they are 2,3,4, or 5 point Calvinists. All these are genuine Christian positions, with nothing to do with Westboro's peculiarities.
Beware of slander by association. To be sure Westboro holds to the 5-point Calvinist TULIP, but that does not mean that Westboro is typical of 5-point Calvinists; in fact Westboro is not. You may as well say that if a serial murderer is an oxygen breather, then oxygen-breathers are evil.
So I find the title of this fascinating & informative series, unfortunate.

I = irresistible grace: God's grace in regenerating men is not resistible by men.

Genuine Christians believe in total depravity & in perseverence. If they did not believe in perserverance, then they could not logically believe they were saved (going to Heaven for sure). Believing in the T & the P makes u a 2-point Calvinist. Christians are then rated on whether they are 2,3,4, or 5 point Calvinists. All these are genuine Christian positions, with nothing to do with Westboro's peculiarities.

That God ordains all that occurs goes beyond 5 point Calvinism. The doctrine of election is that God chose to save some sinners. It does not teach that He chose to elect certain persons to damnation. That doctrine is called "double predestination." But in any case, persons who believe in double predestination, do not therefore believe in picketing funerals. The poster of this video needs to revise his text a little to be honest. If certain people end up destroyed, it must somehow glorify God, even though He wants all saved. The concept of all things finally glorifying God, is not a concept to dismiss by mockery.

The salvation or lack of it for children is not solved by Calvinism vs. Arminianism. A Calvinist might very well believe that all children who die young are elect & that some time before they face judgment, they all trust Christ as Savior; for a strong Calvinist believes that faith is a gift God gives to the elect. The age or IQ of the recipient is irrelevant in election, unless one postulates that God elects all dying children & mentally handicapped.

I haven't heard of Calvinists who say that infants go to hell. But if there are such, I want to inform you that there's also Calvinists who believe infants are saved as soon as they die.
For example, Charles Spurgeon. I agree with him. Infants will not go to hell.
I won't go into any further debates/discussions regarding this, just wanted to clear things up a bit.

when he is talking to the girl at the end you can see humanity in her she turns red and and even remembers the guys name this shows her level of brainwashing as she is not going with her heart but with what she has been taught

I really cannot believe Shirley teaches these children this. Its good that none of these kids can ever date, that means they will not produce offspring. This means the WBC will eventually die out. BUH BYE
