japhiri13 get a cam and put it in the area where the owls live, you will get alot more pleasure out of watching the parents interact with the babies and roosting etc than scaring the babies half to death..please...do it for the babies, and the live cams are battery operated and not that expensive... you could observe the way they live etc...alot to be learned from barn owls..but what you did could be very detrimental..ok
The guy who came to our house back then to put rings on them said that it'd be ok to go up and check on them, as long as you don't do it too often. I did it once, for this video :P.
It was quite an experience, up on a high ladder being greeted by these hissing little buggers :P.
The big owl is still in our barn, we see him at night and sometimes you can see him sit in his dark corner during the day. I don't know where the little ones went :).
the one on the right may not be alive, and the worse time to disturb any animal is when you are doing it. tese animals need to be left alone. They are raptors. And what you did to them for the amt. of time you did it is unacceptable for someone who is supposed to have an interest in animals and their behavior. Why don't you try doing alittle research about them. Their chances of survival the first year is very slim, and you my friend probably increased their odds.
Hissssssssssssssss. AKA Back the f*ck up. They are scared for thier lifes. Anyone reading this is spoiled. You really are, me to. Learn to respect nature. Yawn, another comment i'll recieve 50 hate reply's from.
What's with the thumbs down? This dude's right. Sure, they're cute, but admire from a distance! How would you like it someone broke into your house to film your kid crying because they thought it was cute? If you think these owls are so adorable, exploiting them is a strange way of showing your affection.

I hope this was just a one off experience. Stressing animals out like this is clearly not adorable or more importantly fair on the animals.

I hope you're not using rodenticide on your farm. If you are, there's a good chance these guys will get killed by it.
Thanks for this nice clip. Yes, barn owl babies are so ugly, they're actually cute.
