  • The fighters in this show never went full go on either Bill Duff or Jason. So I wouldn't look at the matches in this show as real competitive fights. They're more like training matches.

  • fight quest is way better at least those guys really fight alot human weapon fights look fake as hell

  • stupid

  • Uh, I have to assume they aren't allowed to punch, because they could have, but they didn't......

  • @ichibang15549 I think you're both wrong and somewhat right really. A more realistic saying would be that in the part of Asia where Thailand and Cambodia are now, a form of unarmed combat evolved meant for competition and entertainment rather than war.

I mean, matches a century or two ago will have been nothing like the sports/professional fights we know today. It would've been mostly two peasants trying to bludgeon eachother to death with a lot of testosterone and little skill. ;-)

  • That sweep was actually perfect in Karate and TKD and added to kickboxing by Karate, the core founder of kickboxing :D Mauy Thai and such ripped it off as usual lol Jason Chambers won round 1-3, such favoritism. And mid body roundhouses from a circular stance are overated, damn judges wanted the crowd to be pleased lol Street fight JC would have slaughtered him all the times that he made the guy go down.

  • @wiggalama What you're saying is only true for the united states. There 'kickboxing' means full contact karate. The term kickboxing however is used mostly for the European/Japanese form of kickboxing. Very different sport.

Midkicks are great in the muai thai system (this vid), because even if they're blocked, they score points. In most other forms of kickboxing, blocked hits do not score points. Still, if the block is out of the way, midkicks rock. It'll suck the air right out of your opponent.

  • @Blahb27 Kickboxing represents the universals of attacking from a circular stance in terms of the variety of limb attacks with gross motor skill mainly and generalized sport rules. Karate is the basis for kickboxing, MT mainly contributed conditioning techniques and a sport avenue abroad. Mid kicks in MT are not so much damaging as they are scored highly cause fight fans love them in terms of the uneducated masses in Southeast Asia :D And blocking a kick takes damage; arm vs. leg, leg win :D

  • @wiggalama Have you ever tried it on? Midkicks are a great way of wearing people down at range. Pulling the block away first is harder than with low or highkicks, but it's still a great tactic.

Again, what you say about karate is only true for the US. Dutch kickboxing for instance is totally different. It's basic foundation here is boxing, expanded with roundhouse-style kicks, and it's very combination oriented. Kicks from karate are extremely rare and mostly uneffective.

  • @wiggalama Adding to that: scoring is not relevant either. Only muai thai rules awards points for blocked kicks. Most kickboxing rulesets, such as K1 rules, do not award points for blocked strikes.

For a fine example of the difference between kickboxing and muai thai, and how a very good thai can lose devastatingly, I'd recommend watching Andy Souwer vs Yodsaenklai Fairtex.

Souwer is a great example of Dutch kickboxing style. He beat Yod on blocking, lowkick counters and better boxing.

  • @Blahb27 Scoring is relevant for prize fighters as Southeast Asia is about poverty, and most of the high level fighters and low level fighters even engage in pleasing the judges. More fights go to decision that KO or TKO. And its not points but consideration of where the fights going that credit is given for damaging an opponent. Aside from check kicks where they take more damage than you and can even break the shin, blocking a kick makes you take damage. My front roundhouse fractured a forearm.

  • @wiggalama Again, that only applies to muai thai rules. All other rulesystems don't awards points for abstract things like 'damage'.

By the way, you can only break your forearm if you block incorrectly. Both arm bones need to be aligned properly.

  • @Blahb27 Its all over southeast asia, or have you forgotten that Cambodai is nowhere near as rich or powerful as Thailand? Bokator is what Cambodia sent out, Pradal Serey was merely another path Bokator went; an inferior one at that :D The generalized rules are usually the same, and if there are limits its more on Pradal Serey than MT. The judges are looking for control and pace, which damage does count as well as position. You ever forearm block a good kick from linear or circular and arm lose.

  • So. anyone knows their weights in this match? Human weapon guy seems to have weight advantage. no wonder he could toss him down so many times.

  • That looked like a very light sparring sessions for the Cambodian, though I think he got pissed when he was tripped to the canvas (a bit disrespectful of Jason considering how light this guy was going on him). The Cambodian is a legend in the sport with hundreds of fights could have demolished him.

  • "I felt like i was winning this round " yeah thats cause he wasnt trying

  • the person jason is fighting isn't even going hard lol, plus he ain't as good as he is now.

  • if he wasnt at his home town he wouldnt have won. jason totally won i mean cmon all those take downs ourscore all those kicks and jabs like wtf a lil home town bitch i say.

  • @ty99999returns

I'm khmer. I know who jason is fighting lol, he isn't going hard...i have dvds of his championship fights. plus he's a honorable person who respects people who like to learn.

  • @ty99999returns

I'm khmer. I know who jason is fighting lol, he isn't going hard...i have dvds of his championship fights. plus he's a honorable person who respects people who like to learn. If you can't tell then you need glasses lol.

P.S. this is pradal serey this is a really really watered down version of bokator.

  • that american guy would be cripple if it a real official fight against ouu po thong....

when ouu kick, he didnt even try hard enough.

  • @angkorwat111

Googled that name and the 1st result said 'Why do girls thongs pop out when sitting in the classroom'.

    Great...

  • wow this sucks...

  • Tbf i fort jason should have won but great fight

  • These thai fighters look skinny and emaciated but they have all that power. That coupled with the bone exposure must hurt pretty fuckin bad. I sure as hell wouldnt fight these guys.

  • this is hillarious

  • do they ever win?

  • can't those guys even pretend they are trying to kick hard? It makes me feel shame for them...

  • this is bad fight. I can fight better. lol

  • @marko05011 you think? ROFLMAO! f'n armchair you-tube warriers LOL

  • wtf why are they so slow...

  • @EnigmaWorld you think? ROFLMAO! f'n armchair you-tube warriers LOL

  • LOL at the fact that punches aren't included in the legal moves at the beginning!

  • whar style were they fighting

  • fake fight

  • this is stupid. even i could have gone through this so called fight. lame.

  • people are so stupid. the khmer peope were around for centuries before the thai tibes even developed.

connect the dots. pradal serey is an ancient khmer martial art form that existed way before muay thai. muay thai is just the mainstream deviation of pardal serey.

  • sparring!!!

  • lol these Pradal Serey are jokes

  • jasoin deserve to win

  • that muay thai guy dont fitgh very real hahaha

  • what a shitty ass fake fucking fight.

this is a nice light sparring session.

  • How come the Big American doesn't fight that much. He let's Jason do all the fighting.

  • They are not fighting for real ! ! !

  • WTF this is muay thai!!!

  • Muay Thai looks more violent

  • @ARandomCanadian

Haha , Muay Thai is a cheap copy of Khmer Bokator and Pradal Serey.

Khmer Material Arts having over 10,000 techniques.

But they show not all Techniques because the Thais copy them

  • Praprajits wai kru like the low budget version of Thai boxing.

  • i hate the way the hosts talk. always have. lol

  • Human weapon is a shame for the world of fighting

i know some fighters who tought kinda disrespect some things they did and the way they show the martial art

  • man , even they train for muy thai , those guys are all boney from malnutrition in those countries, so it would hurt to get hit by pure bone, also i woudnt think they coudl satan a chance against a 220lbs muy thai fighter

  • lol ya shoot shotgun

  • u gotta figure they had to go light otherwise the hoast of the show prob would have died...its def not safe for any amature to step into the ring with any experienced fighters from any of the south-east asian styles

  • WHATAFUCK IS THIS!? This is light sparring.

  • Yeah, this show is the crapiest thing i ever see

  • very very light sparring thet am pussy woud been killed in real fight by fighter half his size

  • its a fucking educational show.. they wont air two bloodied fighters ripping each others heads off.. history channel isnt spike tv dumbass,,

  • well if its education ok, then u can learn how to fight like a pussy, or maybe u already developed that style witouth help, "smartass"

  • how the fuck can you do that

  • the cambodian looked like he need food more than he needed a fight.

  • @MrChicken1976 lol thats exactly why he won he was starving

  • @joetenista what are u talking about? they show some blood in the begining of the muay thai episode. and true it is suppose to be educational but most of the viewer are adults aleast 13 up. this match is fake because the khmer fighter went easy on jason.

  • @joetenista No wonder the fight sucks. It's not realistic at all. It's like two girls rubbing each other with oil more than it is like a fight.

  • @joetenista too bad

  • @joetenista Then they shouldn't pretend it's a real fight.

  • Comment removed

  • must be hard to fight with that anoying horn sound lol.

I prefer Fight quest over human weapon, but this was a good fight.

  • This guy is taking it easy on Jason I've seen him fight before....my thai trainer kicked his arse a few months ago in Australia :)

  • I think Obuthong is being easy on Jason.

  • lol thast great lol but this is cambodia

  • I know this is in Cambodia what's your point?

  • dude that wasnt that much of a fight. i am a mma fighter and ive also been training in kickboxing, but i was not impressed at all by their performance. but thats just me. i love the show. but this one, was not that good

  • Agreed. I want to see more of that brutal skills.

  • they went easy on each other, sparring match

  • hahaha i saw this guy fight last night it was amazing he lost but i still loved every bit of it

  • lol I think Ot wasn't trying his hardest. I've seen Ot's other fights against even better fighters than jason, and Ot took them out. When I was in Cambodia, before this show even aired, I met his brother(Eh Phutong) and holy shit he kicks hard. If you watch more videos of their fights you can see the difference between this fight and his other ones.

  • I think any martial artist would be able to kick hard, have you ever been kicked by an mma fighter?

  • Well of course, I train in MMA and when of the rising stars in Vancouver. Not any martial artist kicks hard, like Baguazhang fighters for example. I fought all different kinds of mma fighters but none of them kicks harder than Eh Phutong.

  • its the fucking history channel guy, do you think they would let them have a real full contact fight on the show?

  • Well no shit dumbass, THEY TRAIN for a fight so they should have a real fight. They had a full contact fight in the MMA one, why not this one. Fucking retard, use your head before you say something.

  • The validity of what you just said becomes robbed when you have actually fought or have seen a real pradal serey or muay thai fight, this looks like half ass fights i have in MMA training, called SPARRING. i challenge you to find a professional muay thai fight where they hit this slow, soft, and deliberately. You will be disappointed.

  • Well thats the reason why I said it looked like he didnt try. Some people have their moments where they destory someone in a fight then next time they fight they do very poorly.

(ex. Anderson Silva vs Thales Letes)

I have seen very amazing PS and MT fights which were brutal. However, Ive seen fights that made me disappointed. Not every pro MT fights are always good. I usually dont watch videos, I travel to places to see fights. You`ll be amazed how many pro fighters will disappoint you.

  • You act like I dont know anything about martial arts or MMA or have seen any professional fights in my life. When I was in Thailand training at Sor. Vorapin Muay Thai camp. I got to meet a lot of skillful fighters and watch them fight. I also watched fighters who were not as skilled but were still fighting professionally. They tended to be the slackers. That`s like 1 out of 60 fighters. Trust me, there are fighters who are very bad but have to fight to make money for their families back home.

  • I don't wanna take sides here but that was a stupid thing to say. The other guy is right in here, they train for a Fight so it's a FIGHT. Don't go around cussing because your wrong. So what if it's the history channel? That has nothing to do with whether it's full contact or not.

  • I personally think the producers hold jason back in these fights for dramatic effect, if you watch jasons mma fights, you know that he's absolutely vicous, his strikes are crisp and his ground game is phenominal, watch one of his mma fights then watch this and you'll see what i mean

  • Bill: He's shooting Arrows at you borther, I think you need to shoot something back at him.

    ROFL!

  • a little shotgun haha

  • skinny

  • Lol, the Thai boxer is laughing at the fight that he's in.. I would too.

  • he's khmer not thai

  • human weapon is good but it seems like in every fight, i got easy opponents or the opponents went easy on them. fight quest is much better

  • this is basically Muay Thai in Cambodia

  • Well Muay Thai was derived from predal serey... I train in this stuff. Its soo much more hardcore than thai boxing

  • @lilpackerboy I should BITCH slap you :D BOKATOR IS THE ORIGIN OF MAUY BORAN, WHICH WENT BACK TO REGULAR PUNCHING WITH THE FRENCH BRINGING IN BOXING ARENAS AND THUS BECAME MAUY THAI; THAI BOXING. :P Bokator has its origins in native masters all over Southeast Asia, wars, and Kung Fu from southern China :D Any well trained Karateka/TKD, Mauy Thai, Bokator, Savate, etc... would allialate it, why do you think it fails even in regular kickboxing abroad?! CAUSE DOUBLE LIMB STRIKES ARE STUPID USUALLY!

  • @lilpackerboy but didnt muay thai come from muay boran?

  • pff es como si estubieran entrenando, no estan peliando de verdad...

    peeenca la wea!

  • it was a close call

  • close call, u make me laugh.. compare the weight classes tho. haha

  • dude i know, this jason guy lost 2 a 30 pound lighter muay thai kikcboxer too.

  • I understand Jason is a jujitsu guy.

  • yes, and he still didnt stand a chance against the judoka, or the ninja, even though he managed 2 get him into a hold

  • But he was fighting under their rules, if he was allowed to use MMA he would likely win. When did he fight a ninja? I dont recall that.

  • he fought a ninja in the human weapon episode of ninjitsu, in fact, its in my videos, i think if this was an MMA match against this same cambodian, the winner wud depend on the situation, if the cambodian stays away from the ground, he will win cuz this videos proven that hes better at striking, but if jason manages 2 lock him in, hed make him tap, cuz pradal serey doesnt focus on ground work, but as for the judoka i think hed beat jason chambers but the nnja wdnt stand a chance agnst him in MMA

  • I can agree here, many strikers have done well in MMA, so long as they learn takedown defense.

  • weight classes shouldnt matter that much.. not when ur a pro fighting a amatuer... look at the TKD episode... bill is like... a foot taller and like..150lbs heavier then the small korean guy... and he knocked bill out stone cold....

  • Fight Quest looks much harder, and the fights seem much more punishing.

  • wow. this one is even worse then the thai boxing. i swear, in the first ones they were not so afraid to fight. unless the first ones are really the later ones. i mean i think they can go a little hareder than this. we train way harder than this and still do it 3 or 4 times a week. i still watch human weapon all the time though. you learn the history and then see a demo. good stuff.

  • too bad they really didnt go at it

  • It honestly didn't look like either fighter were going 100%. I think we can all safely say that Jason's opponent would murder Jason in a real, full-blown fight.

  • ur right

do they have any real fights ? or just like that, when opponent is to nice to kick his head or like sambo fight when he didnt do literaly ANYthing

  • If you have seen Eh phutong fight, it is clear that he was just playing games with Jason.

  • of course they where pretending, this guys are just touring in different countrys , they don't want to die in rough fights with professionals.

  • I fuckin hate these guys - they are so gay!!

  • dog... if this was fight quest.... the host would of been knocked out twice. human weapon is a bunch of pussies

  • you can tell, the cambodian dude is really holding bak and toying with him

  • at the final round oat phuthong's coach told him to hit for real in khmer.. so he prolly wasn't even trying in the first place

  • @egoboo love the way u know how to spell this guys name

  • A shotgun lOl.

  • the khmer guy wasn't even trying

  • wizcool, they cant have theyre men injuired?

have you seen the Escrima/ dolce paras one?

  • this is lame...they should put this americans against tony jaa or buakaw

  • that´s not a real fight

  • haha who ever said jason had it; wow... hahaha... the predal serey fighter was obviously holding back so much. it's pathetic.

  • The show is not fixed stop being ignorant. Bill and Jason both have been training in martial arts for decades and mixed martial artists have to be prepared for everything. try to find "Fight Science-MMA" from Nat-Geo.

  • @KingCrimson1982 This fight was fixed, you can't dispute that. If it weren't, the Muay Thai fighter would've landed one to the head and knocked this 'Jason' character out clean.

  • 100% fixed the tv show cant have there men injured.

  • you guys should watch some of oats fight hes not trying this fight type oat phuthong and you will see or type pradal serey and lookf or oat or ot lolz

  • lolz that pradal serey guy is cambodia's champion former lumpinee and s1 champion hes cambodian lol so am i just xplain so you can know

  • I like huamn weapon better but that just cause i like these guys better plus they endure the mission together instead of them taking two paths to the same road.

  • Comparing this to Fight Quest, they're both great, but what I like about Fight Quest better is that both fighters take on the final fight.

  • Is there a reason Jason has bands around his arms or is that just for looks?

  • Thats a blessed arm band, suppose to help you like a good luck charm.

  • i prefer human weapon then fight quest

  • fuck that jason definately had that one

  • wo that pradal serey guy is bloody skinny but packs a punch

  • Fucking rigged! That guy was on his ass for half the match.

  • thailand guy is holding back

  • cambodian to be exact

  • Are they holding back or something? I've seen more brutal stuff in other pradal serey fights.

  • HAhaha the cambodian guy said to his coach when they were in betwen rounds, "Wow, this guy is trying to fight for real!"

  • "As he comes to grapple...short straight drives, aye? Short straight drives..." You gotta enjoy the talk. Serey was chilling with Jason and putting up a show, period. I would not like to be on the receiving end of that dudes anger.

  • yea both shows are hella good. i guess jason chambers from human weapon and jimmy smith from fight quest fought and fight quest one. good shit.

  • Wow that 'fight' was pathetic.

I've lost all respect for Human Weapon.

  • Muay Thai copied Predal Seray you idiot, ask any damn Asian History teacher. Damn Thais copying the Brutal Cambodians!

  • this fucking guy. well if they did copy it.... they sure as hell took it to the next level.

  • Agree at all... i like human weapons. But when i see first episode of Fight Quest... men this is real thing. Real fighters, real blood... here u have just commercial. Fight Quest is a badass!... upload some vids... i lost almost five or more episodes of FQ ;|

  • bad opponent at all...

  • both are holding back so much.. atleast the khmer guy. They are not hugging eachother in the stadions of Pnom Penh!

  • oat phuthong wasnt even trying his kicks wernt even hard as usual

  • I agree. Just look at the first Fight Quest vid I put up. The difference is obvious.

  • human weapon is weak compared to fight quest

  • yes true. Fight quest are amazing. But human weapon are still ok most of the time. And they explain the technical aspects better.

  • thats wat i like about human weapon

its more of a how to

fight quest is just straight entertainment
