Obama was NOT born in Hawaii. He was born in Kenya. The timeline shows that Obama's parents were in Kenya while Obama's mother was in her last trimester and was not allowed to fly back to Hawaii before the birth. He was born in Kenya, then Stanley Ann flew back with him and registered him in Hawaii, something that Hawaii DID allow back in 61. He was not born in the United States.

For Franken or anyone else to order the recount stopped would be obstruction of justice. So if you want to break state law, you go ahead. This isn't some sort of stepping stone to world domination by the Democrats. If he lost, okay, still have 58 seats - probably still going to get cloture. The process is count the ballots, then whoever wins, wins and the other guy walks away. But since Franken didn't win when that happened, he decided to force and recount and get rid of Coleman's ballots that were even the slightest bit outside of the Coleman box, while keeping all of his ballots which were the same. The Democrats in concert with foreign interests need full control over the US government, and therefore could not let Coleman win.

Coleman was permitted to challenge every rejection, as you say. In fact, the Coleman camp challenged more ballets than the Franken camp did. So if the Coleman coleman camp permitted a ballot to be rejected, they must have agreed to it. In the end both sides agreed to withdraw challenges, so the reason for their disqualification is a question you need to ask Coleman.
