  • HIGH SPEED RAIL FOR AUSTRALIA!

  • Germans are at the next level!

  • I love German Train

    Its fantastic!

i have use it before while i am study in Germany, Aachen

  • this video is Sweet

  • ICE is very comfortable

  • the ICE is one of the greatest high speed train on earthxx

  • 2:34 is in Switzerland :-)

  • Why does Europe get all the cool trains =(

  • @SirAvalord A rail journey in the Uk would probably change your perceptions

  • @SirAvalord i wish the UK would get these kind of trains, but we might with HS2!

  • @SirAvalord It's all about "priorities". Where I am from, the emphasis is upon "militarism"...and, the obscene, bankrupting expenditures inherent in such a negative, futile preoccupation. Germany focuses upon a solvent, viable future...and, the well-being of its citizens...

  • @SirAvalord because American politicians are a bunch of short-sighted morons!

  • Goot video ;)

  • Does it go to france from frankfurt? If yes how long? Does it stop for passport checks? How much?

  • @timphiey Check the Deutsch Bahn website

  • @timphiey Train is leaving Frankfurt on 9AM and arrives Paris on 1PM so the whole journey lasts 4 hours. Ticket cost from 39 EUR (when you book in advance). We don't have passport checks inside the EU (Schengen zone).

  • @timphiey It should be around 7 hours to get from frankfurt to paris. they don't stop for passport controls because in the zone of schengen the are no frontiers

  • SMT_Rail fast, safe and green

  • Brings back memories.. <3

    I miss Germany!

  • ich mag züge!

  • 並走するICE面白いですね^^高速電車の並走は初めて見ました。

  • Shame on you if you've been to Germany and didn't take a ride on this marvel.

  • why doesnt america have trains like this,

  • @Al123456ize

because US Americans prefer planes and cars. The train system is financed by taxes partly. This would never be possible in the US because no one would see the need of a north american railroad system paid by taxes from all us americans. It's the same with social healthcare.

  • im ride on the back of that motherfucker like that one dude

  • Dear DB please buy out Amtrak and get rid of our "Third World" trains and put both ICE-3's, 4's and T's in the US sincerely someone who is tired of amtrak and the political BS

  • the Cologne-Frankfurt track sometimes does over 330km/h in cases they are bit late... I do regularily take this track, and I have witnessed it. But the most impressive thing about this masterpiece of german ingeneering is:

Even you are running 330km/h, when you close your eyes, you'd think the train would stand still ! This is so amazing incredible... The nearest experience you could compare is flying...but its even better than flying.

  • Beautiful video! I love it!!!!

  • Riding an ICE from Frankfurt to Augsburg noticed how fast the scenery was going by and looked the the speedometer, 150mph!! The best part smooth and comfortable.

  • Is this the killing machine that a conductor refused to stop when passengers saw the pieces of wheel sticking up into the cabin and let 100's of people to die?

I commend Siemens and Germans for canceling all the ICE until the thorough investigation was conducted and corrective action was implemented.

  • lol I'll be travelling with an ICE this summer. Can't wait for it.. Also nice to see the station in which I'll probably take the ICE (Amsterdam, the station at 02:30...

  • @topsander Thanks for the comment. I think that station is at Cologne.

  • @eurodestination You can see two Dutch trains (ICM (02:32)and DD-AR(02:28) at the station. Both are Dutch trains. So I think it really has to be a Dutch station. Because the ICE doesn't pass too many Dutch stations, it has to be Utrecht Centraal, Arnhem or Amsterdam Centraal. I've never been at Arnhem, but I know the stations of Utrecht and Amsterdam quite well and I think this station really looks like Amsterdam Centraal..

  • @topsander I''l take your word for it. Thanks for the info.

  • @topsander Its is

    i come from the Dutch

That is at Amsterdam Central station.

Than its go to Utrecht and Arnhem

Its go to Germany via Emmerich

and then to Basel BSS or Frankfurt

  • @kevinmohlen13 I know... I travelled from Mannheim HBF to Utrecht yesterday. Because work on the railroad the train didn't start in Basel, but in Karslruhe. Because work on the station of Arnhem the train entered The Netherlands around Venlo. This is only temporary, of course. Because of those things, it took a little more time to get from Basel to Utrecht, but it was still a great experience to travel with the ICE 3. I'll post one or more vids of the track between Frankfürt and Cologne soon.

  • If only we, the British, could have a similar railway system. Very depressing. I might move to Germany. They need archaeologists right?

  • @edj66 Isn't it depressing how we always fail to make it happen. The nimbyism is just pathetic.

  • @edj66 Well, at least you don't live in the USA, that would be worse. ;o) all we have are auto centric focused suburbs, oh, and the Amtrak, yea right ;o) I also want to live in Germany, let's be roommies ;o)

  • @edj66 Americans want trains too :(

  • @edj66 I cant agree more... British rail system is so 19th century and pathetic.

  • I always like ICE's Siemens trains... best speed and exterior...

  • I had the opportunity to travel on these trains....I went all around Germany and even to Switzerland....I'm planning a trip next year back to Germany to do it all over again-but this time with even more train rides to eastern Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands

  • THE TRAINS LOOK SO DAMN CHUBBY AND CUTE

  • Despite some trains in China run at a higher speed (350km/h), I still think that Germany is far superior in high speed rail transport.

  • @chron123 these chinese trains are based on the german technology, the new generation of trains could drive fast like that, too.

but it not really make sense to build faster trains in germany, cos there are not enough tracks for the speed and the distance of the big cities are not as far as in china ...

  • @euripvid Not just German, some Japanese tech too (some trains are Japan-based)

Since your comment, the Chinese government has decided to slow down the 350kph trains to 300kph, most likely due to safety concerns and cost.

The trains ran at 350kph because the ex-rail minister wanted to show off to the world, and now the man is removed from office and pending investigation of corruptions and so on.

As a Chinese myself, it does make me worry a bit.

  • @chron123 why does it makes you worry?

  • the inside is Awesome !!

  • ICE3/Velaro is arguably the most beautiful high speed train in the world. So stylish yet simple.

  • @Eurodestination..Thank's very much, will let you know how my trip went. also thank's fo a excellent video.

  • I love this video, i will get a chance to travel on the ICE train in april, travelling from Wuppertal to Hamburg, cannot wait.

  • @LeazesPhil Nice one - enjoy the trip

  • Awesome - just simply awesome - great work :)

  • @Imperialscout2 Cheers

  • I am so happy I am European. I love high speed trains and wonderful pictures seen through the windows while riding. I am proud European. May live Europe and it's cultural diversity. Let's enjoy it every day. :)

  • @EMDSD14R Thanks mate, I can't wait 'till they start coming to London in 2013. Cheers.

  • @eurodestination anytime... oh so there running the ICE there in 2013..thts Awsome!!....its going to look sweet running through the Chunnel...i hope one day i can ride a train through there

  • Wonderful video. Superb trains.

  • @cattleman6420012000 They'll be coming to London by 2012

  • On 2:03, why would two ICE 3 trains race each other?

  • @Trainmaster189 I can only think of two reasons. One, since they were the "Bahn Frei!" ad trains, it could have been a publicity move. Two, they could have been two trains bound for two destinations, but had to travel on the same line at the same time before splitting off.

  • Virgin and First group could do with these on the West Coast Main Line :)

  • Fantastic video!!!!!!!

  • @justanotherfreak2008 Many thanks - great trains!

  • @justanotherfreak2008 The aerial shots were authorised to me by Deutsche Bahn. Have you seen my other ICE video to Cologne?

  • Nice video!

  • Nice! :D

  • This video is excellent!

  • beautiful trains, so much better than the via trains we have over here. I can just imagine these in North America equipped with sleepers and dining cars, I feel like our county is stuck in time :(

  • You should have a look at British trains!LOL

  • I can see what you're saying, most of Britain is installed with Victorian Era tracks that are obviously not designed for high speed but as you probably know they do exist, with the via trains, I went to Montreal nearly 2 years ago and it was the most uncomfortable useless service I ever exprienced, we can't push the seats back enough to be actually comfortable there was no skycar or whatever you want to call it, we had the good stainless steel trains on the way back however which weren't as bad

  • @eurodestination

Both are bad. Germans, french and japanese trains are the best.

  • @MrExplorer7 And I am afraid that it is.

I think that we in Europe should link all of the continent (and Britain and Ireland) together, get rid of the present EU and plutocracy, and become a European confederation. We should preserve our cultures and our identities but modernize our infrastructure and our political system. So we would need to go to a kind of social E-democracy.

A new century asks for new ways.

  • Beautiful pictures. Thank you very much Gary. 5 * Philippe

  • Mon Plaisir Philippe

  • Those trains look awesome, I enjoy the Eurostar and I assume this is a very similar experience. It really does put our rattlers to shame:(

  • Yeh they are good, but they don't actually go quite as fast as TGV's as some of the lines are old still. The new lines in Germany are 300kmh, however, which is great.

  • Absolutely great video! Love the music.

  • Many thanks, glad you liked the music, it is good isn't it!

  • Superb footage Gary, and it just shows how far behind we are in the UK..5* Bob

  • I just enjoyed the copter ride Bob (wink wink)

  • Very nice video, indeed!

  • Danke

  • Great video, going on this train next week to Berlin

  • Have a great trip!

  • Ahhh the ice train. Another piece of Germany I really miss. Anywhere in Europe is at your finger tips with just a few hours to a day trip on these trains. Awesome.

  • That's right, its the only way to go!

  • The ICE 3 cannot tilt. Only the ICE T can do that with the maximum speed of only 280km/h while the ICE 3 can go over 300.

    But nice video anyways, 5*

  • I should have known that, but thanks for putting me right. I shall update the info. Cheers.
