this is the first time i heard this song & these old Hindi tunes never cease to amaze me with their sheer effortlessness & brilliance. these are masterpieces of creations sung in one go. seems they have to put a lot of effort & complications into songs now with different tracks & effects. the songs nowadays seem lighter & more westernized with high pitched male voices.

Best of Mukesh,the strong points of his voice are emphasised in this song, that's why it is more impressive. Thanks for posting this moving song. By the way the music director is Duttaram, and one of his assistants in this 1960 film was Pyarelal. Hasarat Jaipuri has also done commendable job.
