It's almost always the news they put on, on televison or radio. In holland Johhny actually picked up the actual news with the radio it seems, it looked like it anyways ;p, it the same thing about the traffic i heard the day before! so awesome. But what they should have done was the murder on a politic here in Holland called: Pim Fortuiyn, fits perfectly with this song, he destroyed himself by being to open about everything he thought.

Agreed. SNL was the best live version, even though the drums sound very out of tune. Thom is acting weird here :) I love him.

This is the best live version of "National Anthem" I've ever seen; much better than the Paris show which has been on Showtime. Thom's guitar and intensity rock and make up for the lack of horns heard on the CD.
