im pretty sure this girl in my 6th period brought 1 of those to show the class..they are awsome..look like they could be called poison dart "toads"..lol
I have to disagree from my experience. I have kept them in humidity levels of 60 - 85% for 5 years and they are going strong. I also have a strong ventilation source (computer fan) which simulates a constant breeze and keeps the air from being stagnant.
By no means does humidity ever reach 90 or above unless thats the humidity in the city I live in.
You build a base made of draining material like expanded clay balls or fish gravel. Make it thick/high enough so that your water level is never higher. This will keep the soil moist but with plenty of air for the roots to breath. Also, use semi-aquatic plants for wet spots.
Hi, my native language is Spanish, i have a question for you: how do you manage to avoid plants rotting in your vivarium?.. does your vivarium have a hole to drain the water out when you water them?
I want to build a vivarium here in Peru but I'm afraid my plants could rot.
Devilsshehound2-I have problems with my moss as well .I would suggest higher humidity , not too much light ( dont leave light on excessively)moss usualy grows in forest shade. Tinmodul do have to replace yours every 2-3 months ?I have to.Look at my set up .
Can you give me any pointers on how i should take care of my baby frogs that i have, take a look at my video to see what it is, i need to know what to put into it.. i've had these frogs for 2 days and they aren't eating the food i bought and the insects i put in it
where do u get computer fans?
and how much are they?
