  • They don't often make media portrayals about the German human side of the war, instead we often see too much cartoon nazi whenever a German is mentioned. Inglorious Basterd is fun to watch, but still it is a bit ridiculous portraying the Germans as cold hearted bastard. By the way, Cross of Irons is a damn good movie, next to Stalingrad.

  • It's about a boy called "Hänschen-Klein" (little Hans) leaving his home and coming back home seven years later as "Hans". A 19th century german folk/child song.
