  • GO TOO THE KITCHEN BITCH!...

  • If Samantha Power had been born in Britain during it's height of rule she would have supported the British occupation of India in the name of human rights. And we all know how that turned out in the end.

  • Jeez... how uninformed can you get?

No wonder the American people don't know WTH is going on - we have reporters like this!

    This is shameful - truly!

  • She grabs the ugly truth from the jugular!

  • Jezebel.

  • Fu ck this hypocritical bitch.. She pretends to be a human rights activist but yet she orders invasion under the cover of " demending human rights".. Fu cking bitch..

  • Samantha power is ugly, retarded and warmongering.

  • Samantha Power is the idiot who persuaded Obama to intervene militarily in Libya.

  • @Michelangelo123123 Samantha is an anti-semite and she's aptly named. She's all about grabbing for 'Power.' She wants to 'invest' in a new state of terrorist Palestine. These are the people that are driving the world toward destruction. I'm sure she's been promised a high position by Obama in the New World Order.

  • This bitch is out of her fucking mind.

  • This woman has been sucking up to Bammer for years. She wants Sec. of State sooooo bad she can taste it.

  • STUPID.LIBERAL.COMMUNIST.CUNT!!!!!! FUCK ALL OF YOU WHO SUPPORT HER & HER JEW HATING SELF HUSBAND!!!! YOU ARE THE REASON THE COUNTRY IS SUCH SHIT!!!!!

  • support the independence of southern california and arizona the hispanic communities are suffering human rights abuses, independence for Aztlan.

  • @SuperPreciousMetal off this cunt and get a visa scumbag

  • @biggerturtle fuck you, this bitch supported the illegal aliens in my country to get independence.. your turn cocksucker.

  • @SuperPreciousMetal What country and I'll respond .

  • You are right. They don't want to use word "genocide". Why?

    They want do nothing.

What great guilts and shames on them!

But voters allow them to go unpunished. Why?

    They have media.

Catholic media should teach the true faith from Jesus, Son of God. Jesus, I trust in You.

  • As a former Harvard Professor, I'm sure she would be the first to encourage people to honestly criticize and look for indiscrepancies. Well, here she is, singing Eleanor Roosevelt's praises for creating the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - - And yet, in her book, she's highly critical of that Declaration, claiming that it undermined the Genocide Treaty and therefore did much more harm than good. Those two things don't seem to "wash" when considered simultaneously.

  • To learn something about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, check out: Beyond Chutzpah: On the Misuse of Anti-Semitism and the Abuse of History by Dr. Norman Finkelstein. This book is actual scholarship, not rhetoric. AND I HOPE FOR THE DAY WHEN ISRAEL IS TRIED FOR ITS WAR CRIMES.

  • Muslims are trying to kill Israel, not because they "stole" the land they bought and owned, but because they dared to assume a status of non-slave in the Muslim world while not being Muslim. To Marxists, Israel's only real crime - an utterly unforgivable one - is in being an ally of the US.

Finkelstein is a Marxist hack. I hope for the day when he and other enablers for Marxist atrocities and genocide are tried for their crimes against humanity.

  • @DrCruel Yeah but he didn't commit them... He might simply be an apologist, but that is very different from actually committing the crimes.

  • @Scientisticsoviet Being an apologist for fascism was enough to get William Joyce hanged. At the very least, he does not deserve to be regarded as a scholar.

  • @DrCruel Indeed, his academic credibility should diminish (unless he unearths some groundbreaking documents; Very unlikely though).

  • @Scientisticsoviet I don't see how it could get any worse. He's already up there with Ward Churchill as far as credibility goes.

  • @DrCruel Oh I was just speaking in general. I actually have never come across him to tell you the truth.

  • @Scientisticsoviet You could always look up some of his books. His "Holocaust Industry" is particularly nasty. He's also a big advocate for Hezbollah - you should see him dance to make them look good. It's almost as entertaining as when Noam Chomsky was stumping for the Khmer Rouge.

  • Do you know who is the most influential Country to the US government? Have you seen these PROTEST pictures from America? Google this: who is congress listening to - it will be the first article on Google. If youre interested in this topic, there is a really well done documentary on Google Video: The Israel lobby - The influence of AIPAC on US Foreign Policy.

  • Here we go again:Whites! Atone for crimes, real or perceived, against non or less whites, you hear?!Rich folks can afford to speak dismissevely about riches

and its misuse.NOT that any of it ends ANY of it.Eleanor's grandstanding

is just that.We are cruel as a species some of us feel better if we articulate our disgust about it.Easy to act humanitarian when you get to preach and paid handsomely in the process...Easy to feel bad about things you never, ever, will endure.Welcome to the Club.

  • Sports fan...who gives a sh't?

  • Are you minority in your country?. is your country a poor and under developed country?.

chances are that your community will have to face genocide in the future.

Like Tamils are going through genocide in sri lanka.

175,000 tamils are already killed by Sri lanka army

  • Ms Samantha Power, Please look at the current genocide which is going on in sri lanka.

Sri Lanka has been killing 175,000 tamils . currently over 300,000 tamils are in concentration camps

  • but lets sum this up :)

    1) the scene in israel/palestine is bad, both sides are commiting crimes

    2) how it started doesn't matter, how we fix it does.

    3) what prevents us from fixing it

    4) taking a black&white stance wont help anyone (such as all muslims go to jordan/ all jews go to america)

    5) the media is biased

    6) religious people are most likely to take a black&white stance, making this an endless "we're right" "no we're right" "no we are"

because they have "god" on their side.

    /sigh

  • I call it a genocide because of the 1 shot 2 kills thing, and the fact that Palestine is not separated in the muslim world as "Palestine", it's a branch of the muslim state, and the only justification for war in islam is the defense of the muslim state, and since the pen does not work for the muslims since their criticisms of Israel are silenced for the most part by western media, they will lead to an infinite cycle of violence until either Israel is abolished or Muslims are wiped out.

  • so your definition of the word genocide is a personal one, not what the rest of the world would agree with.

ok then . call it genocide :)

but about the rest of your post here, i agree with.

congratulations religion for making another part of the world a living hell.

  • Nah, my definition of genocide is the same as others.

"they will lead to an infinite cycle of violence until either Israel is abolished or Muslims are wiped out. "

And Israel sure as hell isn't going to abolish itself as a Jewish state and have it's people withdraw, and they know Muslims will remain angry and war torn, they have for the past 40 years in spit of all their losses. This can only end in extermination.

  • you said that the genocide was being committed by israel, not by muslims which you changed it to.

a genocide isn't when 10 people fight 1000 people who throw themselves at the 10 , 2 at a time until all 1000 are dead, or until they kill those 10. technically that's just self defense.

if muslims would as a group decide, we wont hate jews any more, and we'll stop attacking israel and protesting, you still believe israel would steal that land and put up roadblocks?

  • I never said it was being committed by Muslims, I just said that the nature of the Muslim religion is to wage war when they've been wronged.

And I agree, that would be self-defense, but in this instance, those 10 people(Israelis) took half of the vast land inhabited by those 1,000 and called it their own with no compensation or anything, making them the primary aggressors.

No, it's not just the settlements and roadblocks, its the state as a whole that's thievery of muslim land.

  • never said that?

hang on you quoted yourself a bit down here, read that quote, and then read the entire text your quoted that from, you're talking about muslims and how "THEY will lead to an infinite cycle of violence until .....wiped out"

and you quoted that to show your definition of genocide.

    muslim land?

i believe the brits gave them that land since it was under their control at the time. dispute that if you want but dont blame israel for the west's bad conscience of mistreating jews.

  • but to say that the atrocities are not about religion, well not about it, it's about killing people.

but religion is heavily involved in the situation, it's a whole lot worse because of it.

if it were 1 million black people fighting over some land with another 2 million black people, it'd be a heck of a lot easier to resolve this.

both sides having a "holy book" which gives them claim over a piece of land is funneling the fires.

  • The most important genocide being committed is that of Israel against Muslim Arabs, directly funded by the US, and acted on in Gaza by the IDF and in Iraq, Afghanistan, and soon to be Iran and probably Pakistan, by the US army.

  • how many jews in the world

how many muslims in the world

look up the word genocide in a dictionary.

find out which religion has more violence tied to it's core.

    get back to us.

    have a nice day.

  • just because there are more muslims doesn't mean Israel is not causing a lot of atrocities

What Israel is doing is not genocide but they are basically trying to render the Palestinian state as a non existent entity and this is being supported by the US.

Israel's atrocities are not about religion, they have more to do with one state's desire to gain control over a territory. The fact that the Palestinians are Muslim just makes the situation worse.

  • and i never said israel isn't causing atrocities, in fact i consider a lot of what they're doing illegal.

you agree that what israel is doing is not genocide, awesome, that was my problem with Truthseek18's comment.

what israel is doing is up for debate, you dont know and i dont know, in essence it seems to be related to something very human which is to make sure it survives.

and it's been under threat by some palestinians, so it's gone on the offensive trying to create some sort of deterrence

  • I feel Israel is just trying to continuously push the Palestinians out of the land. They're building settlements in areas that dont belong to them and Israel and the US have blocked a two state settlement which would likely be the most peaceful solution.

If Palestinians fight back even harder and try to destroy Israel, are they not doing something human to make sure they survive?

  • they are, you're writing this as if i'm pro-israel .

    i'm not :)

    i'm anti religion.

and pro peace, so i'm double against most everything that's happening in the middle east.

i dont care which side it is. they're both doing illegal stupid things to each other.

my only hope is that it'll end some day, and do so before the rest of the world gets dragged into that mess.

  • I'm glad she mentioned the Gujarat genocide in India.

  • Part VII Do your part in honoring Human Rights making Justice applicable to all perpetrators. If we do not stand for truth, justice, history will have no mercy on the U. S. Conscience, duty, representation of truth starts with, by the peoples, not by those whose stance is to be oppressive, controlling, limiting freedoms, disabling any civilians, childrens, elderly independence. This is a legacy for no peoples.32 years Advocate for Human Rights,Disabled Rights - ADA Law

  • Part VI Response

Speak out now and do not stop the fight till Justice remains secured. Real Truth never creates resentment. The present foreign policy is anything but just. History does matter. The clock does not start with Samantha or all these now making policy. As Americans let us make sure we honor the lives of ALL genocide victims from the start of the 20th century to present day victims. Real historians will not allow truth to die.

  • Part V Response

This is not a partisan question. US Leadership must rethink itself and their foreign policies, period : ) As you listen to Samantha's video think how it is applicable to Armenia past, and presently. How better to address this lack of real insight by Samantha, our Pres, the American peoples. Genocide did NOT start with the genocide of the Jews. Over 90 years as American-Armenians we have waited much too long for Justice!

  • Part IV Response

Talk about hood winking peoples in the name of freedom, and denial of the Armenian Genocide. American-Armenians please keep up the fight. Do not allow the Armenian Genocide ever be forgot. Hit those low-level bureau cats with absolute Truth and share it with the United States! As Samantha states, perpetrators should be to make sure they are not left off the hook, because America is not living up to the promise against genocide to any peoples, anywhere.

  • Part I Response

Why is genocide by Samantha Powers only addressed from the start of Nazi genocide? What about the Armenian Genocide of this century? Over 90 years and still today no responsible address for this ghastly genocide of two-thirds of a nation and the horrible genocide by Turkey. US foreign policy: to stand by nations who continue to disregard human rights. It seems the US thinks it is totally acceptable to disable, kill helpless civilians, children, and elderly.

  • Part III Response

When I think of the more than 6millions of people murdered (ongoing) in China, the past Soviet Union, I wonder why that American History only starts to address Genocide from the start of the Nazi occupation. There certainly is an agenda going on, but it is not in the name of Truth or Freedom. I hope we will find real and open peoples who truly champion historical 'truth' to address these real issues of Genocide of the 20th Century!

  • Part II Response

The political agenda for human rights is not for everyday civilians, children, or the elderly. Samantha Power is not the voice of Americans by any means. As Americans (not the real Americans) we still must confront the genocide of the true Americans, the American Indian. How sad this young woman is in 'trying to create' her role as a person against genocide.

  • How very ahistorical is Samantha's thesis: No government has a better record of responding to Genocide than America: by funneling arms shipments to Indonesia the U.S. facilitated genocide in East Timor; Turkey's slaughter of the Kurds was likewise made possible only by maasive U.S. military aid.

From its adventure in the Phillipines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Central America, the US has routinely ennabled and sponsored Genocide the world over. Poor Samantha! How politically illiterate she is.

  • Its the "america is genocidal" crowd that lacks perspective. I'm an immigrant with no flag to wave. Without America... asia and europe would be house-slaves of the japanese/russians/germans. Why didn't America try to use nukes on just about every country that opposed it in 1945, to complete the "empire" building? EVERY case mentioned above: Vietnam, kurds etc - misses out on the context of BROADER forces of "unpleasantness" (i.e "evil" according to everyday people) : continued in nextpost

  • contd from below: Communism and European imperialist ideologies had resulted in 125-150 million deaths in the 20th century. You people are spewing hatred against america because of the "collateral" damage - what you DON'T know are, obviously the staggering numbers killed PROACTIVELY in a TARGETED fashion by other peoples/nations..and in cases like china (cultural revolution), their OWN. Are you saying that DIRECTED killings are more tolerable than collateral damage? How ILLITERATE.

  • IF America is "sponsoring" genocide as a matter of policy (as opposed to being the unfortunate side effect) why are millions of immigrants pouring into America? Samantha Power is an immigrant! This is a revelation to me. NO WONDER she has this sensible HISTORICAL perspective, unlike mug liberals who snipe at alleged sponsorship. What you geniuses need to think about is the SCALE of the preponderance of American power, compared to ALL OTHER POWERS IN HISTORY and what it has NOT done to others.

  • Meant to post this a continuation of my reply below. I'm not an American, for the record.

  • you are the one who is deluded in regard to history, those european and communist ideologies who supposedly created the conflicts in the 20th century did no such thing. Those conflicts were created by the same people who are creating the conflicts today. These conflicts are now and have been created by the people who have funded and profited from the misery and death on both sides. Our governments are their lackies, and the worlds population are their debt slaves.

  • The U.S. government supports genocidal dictators as a matter of current foreign policy. Politicians supported by the people have "NO" business in interventionist foreign policy. They do nothing more than further brutal economic agendas with other peoples blood.

  • True about American foreign policy and what it is for regarding genocide but when you say that Regan admin looked the other way regarding Saddam, you have no idea why? After 25 minutes of you misdirected drivel, I cannot listen any longer. Your heart is in the right place but for crying out loud, get a clue!! Continued below

  • Rwanda: Americans are fucking pathetic they aren't interested in HUMAN rights "... Listen, Monique, the United States has no Friends, the United States has Interests, & in the United States there is no interest in Rwanda, & we have no interest in bringing young American Marines home in coffins... & we have no incentive... " - tinyurl com/248bb3 ~~~ Spread Love... BlueBerry Pick'n ThisCanadian com ~~~ "We, two, form a Multitude" ~ Ovid. ~~~ "Silent Freedom is Freedom Silenced" "Do no harm"
  • Totally agree Argument777

  • What about the 60 years of slaughter and genocide of Palestinians by the zionist State of Israel? They don't count? And USA's policies toward this? How can S. Power study genocides and American foreign policies and "ignore" Palestinian holocaust and genocide? Good willing,"naive" or purposely short sighted about Israel?

  • I can not believe this samantha is pretending to be blind of the atrocities america has done and blaming Osama bin laden... lol this is just hilarious and rudiculous. She credits the bush administration? lol. Oh goodness... I don't even have words for this lady..

  • Thanks yazyh, as the presenter states and she herself admits it would have been better if she had dedicated herself to baseball chronicles, because analyzing US foreign affairs and genocides is obviously too much for her!

  • LOl...yeah guess baseball was the best option for this lady...lol..
