A Jaffa Cake is what it says, its a small cake about the same size of a digestive biscuit with a sponge base and circle of orange flavored gel in the middle, finally the the top is coated with a thin layer of chocolate, and yes it is a cake because if it was a biscuit McVitie's would have to pay biscuit tax so its just a way of avoiding that!
