i use sony vegas 7 for all my videos and the effect i use for the border is 2 cookie cutters, one up and one down, with the border...i know it's confusing to exaplain XD

it's the chroma keyer effect. with that one, you choose a colur and you will see that that colour will become transparent...then you have to play with the parametres underneath the colour board...if you're using that particular scene of pauline, you hav to choose the black. does this help?
